I am planning on buying 60 ML of 100 MG of NIC Liquid for $33.99 from Extreme vaping.

I have 3 questions.

1. I there a better deal that anyone else knows of to buy high levels of NIC at a better price?

2. Is it better to have it based in all PG or all VG.

3. Where do all of your DIY's go to buy your NIC?

Thanks in advance...

EDIT: I just bought 125 ML of 100 MG Nic juice shipped for $42.74 with coupon (Best Way) took off $4.99. Sweet

I got 2 x 120ml of 100mg for $47.85 (including shipping) from Gourmet Vapor. Code is box50. You aren't going to find a lower price from what I've seen, but the sale ends 11/7 you so better hurry. If any of you DIY'ers can tell me where to get some good mild tobacco flavoring cheap I'd appreciate it.

cskent, has your order arrived yet, I ordered on the 7th and still waiting for my order to ship.

No, I keep checking on it on the Gourmet Vapor site and it's still showing "IN PRODUCTION" as the order status. I guess they got more response than they expected to their 1/2 off sale. I'm not too concerned about it, I'm set for juice and this is just building up stock anyway. It would be nice if they'd let us know what's up in an email though.

I ordered some NIC and a few premade juices on the 5th and it still shows in production. I was ordering for stock also, so I'm not going to gripe about it, although I am anxious to try the flavors. They would do well to send out some sort of update if there is going to be this much of a delay, though. This would be frustrating to someone short on juice.

Edit - as of today, my order is marked shipped.

Question,

So I just bought 250ml of 48mg based nic with 10% Blended Vegetable Glycerin from Gourmet Vapor.

This will be my first attempt at making my own formulated eliquid. What else do I need if I want a lot of vape?

1) I imagine I'll want to find commercial grade VG from somewhere? Anyone where to get that from?

2) If I want to get down to somewhere around 11mg or 8mg for a 30ml solution, I imagine I'll also need to add distilled water?

3) What about flavorings?

I've tried to do a google search for an all inclusive step by step to making eliquid with nicotine, but I can only find bits and pieces strewn across the widespread www it seems. I was hoping I could just go to the store for my flavorings but I guess it's not that easy.

Can someone help point me in the right direction, so I know what my next steps to "buying the ingredients online" is?

Check Nik's (Purevapes) flavoring sticky in this subforum. Post 3 in it is a quickie intro, while posts 1 and 2 discuss flavorings.
Scubadatdan has a popular calculator.

Distilled water (buy it from a grocery store) and pure grain alcohol (or high proof vodka if there's no PGA where you live) are popular to thin VG -- by itself it's too thick. The PGA supposedly enhances the throat hit of non-PG mixes, while distilled water will simply thin it.

PG (propylene glycol) you can supposedly ask a pharmacy to order, or get at a tractor supply store. Like VG, always look for stuff that's USP (high purity). I Just order PG when I buy other vaping things online.

For myself, right now, I'm playing with about 60 - 70% PG, 25 - 30% VG, the rest water or alcohol, though I'm also poking at a zero PG mix.

48mg isn't too strong, but be careful with it, store away from pets, kids, etc., in a cool, normally dark, location, and be scrupulous about cleaning. Eye protection and nitrile gloves are good if you tend to have whoops problems.

When I ordered last Sunday the nic order page had a note talking about at least a 7 day wait due to volume. No surprise.

I either missed this or ordered before they got swamped. Either way, I'm glad to see they were letting people know and I don't mind a bit waiting a little longer for such a great deal.

I would check out this forum One Stop DIY Shop and the OneStopDiy Shop, DIY Flavors - One Stop DIY Shop Store they can set you up with a nice kit that includes everything you need to get started, and more.
Give it a try.
