NIc lowering question.

I'm a 12mg eh semi chain vapor. The problem lies in juice manufactures is that they go from 12mg to 6mg cutting it in half. I've done 6mg and well yeah doesn't work for me but would like to lower it. I don't like how its cut in half, I know other places do offer 8mg which should be all, 18,12,8,6,3,0 to me should be the standard. But anyhow, I feel if I only vaped 6mg, I'd chain vape x10 to get what I want. Anyone make the jump with the cut in half 12 to 6 and how long it took you to actually take the half cut. I feel I'd vape it hard to get what I want, but would like to be a 6mg or so guy. I'm getting my TOHB atty and bought 6mg, I don't want to have to constantly buy 6 and 12, 6 and 12 for money reasons, anyhow, any info on ppl that did the split in half mg much appreciated.

I tried switching from 12mg to 6mg but the throat hit at 6mg just isn't enough for me. I do exactly what you mentioned with 6mg. I vape a lot more of it and take bigger hits in search of a throat hit that just isn't there.

I thought I was ready for the switch but I was wrong.

I do love throat hit, but also, I use it for Nicotine. Most of us here being the site called cigarette in the name smoke nicotine, the reason i mention it, is with a atty and a Kayfun, I don't have the budget to buy the same flavor 6mg and another one 12mg ya know? Not sure how gonna do it. I started 26, 18, then 12. the others were to much nic for me because I liked to vape ALOT, when I smoked I didn't smoke that often because well, you have to go out side and or be in this area to do it. I wasn't even a pack a day guy. But yeah, i don't think there is a solution but get use to it.

Buy 0mg and some 48mg Nicotine solution - 120ml Add the nic base to the 0mg to suit your present level. It is strong enough to not dilute the flavor, yet not so strong as to need extra precautions when handling it. That way you will not have to buy bottles of 6 and 12 of the same flavor.

You're missing the point "not buying 12 and 6" that's the point to how to get use to a lower nic so I don't have to buy TWO bottles but one. Anyways, the solutions is this just get use to 6mg or don't. Simple, only thing I can think of. Not going through ALL that trouble when I just want to buy one juice bottle and vape it. You could cold turkey it and chop it in half. Or you could ween off tapering your usage over a few weeks.
At the end of the day, whatever works for you.
I cut my nic in half when I jumped up to APVs from egos and that helped make up the difference a bit.
I keep a bottle of 12 mg around for when I need the extra kick, but it's rare that I use it.
Recently I've been dropping to 3mg, and that's how I'm going to do it.

I had to get all the way down to 6mg before I could vape regularly at all, because 12mg just made me nauseous. But then when I quit cigarettes I found that 6mg just wasn't enough, and I already had a good bit of it, so I just bought some 24mg in the same flavor to add just a little bit to it. That way, I don't have to buy the higher-nic stuff very often, just now and then, just to kick up the 6mg to 9 or 10 mg. It's about the most cost effective way I've found to have the right nic level for me.

You would need to use almost 19% nicotine base to be at 9mg. I'm pretty sure that's going to dilute your flavor.

THATS a good idea.. you still have to buy 2 bottles of your adv, but atleast its not 2 bottles every time you get juice.

Yeah it works pretty well. MyFreedomSmokes charges the same for everything from 0mg to 24mg, only bumping up the price when you go to 36mg. So, I make regular orders of the 6mg in 60ml bottles to take full advantage of volume savings, and just get a 30ml of the 24mg every once in a while, since I don't go thru it fast at all. It works very well.

Ok I'm about to do the dumbest thing eveer, but trial and error, I'm going to mix two flavors I have one is 12mg one is 6mg, and put my stainless steel tube on the Kayfun, the 12mg is citrus and I do not like Citrus, but I'm going to mix the 6mg other with it, its kidna blue Berry, I'll post either how dumb I am or if it came out ok haha!

If 12mg nic is satisfying for you and 6mg just isnt doing it for you, then why in the world are you trying to vape lower nic?

Just stick with the satisfying 12mg and take smaller or less frequent hits instead if you're concerned for some reason about your nicotine levels.

Just like when you were a smoker you didnt chop your cigs in half, you just smoked less of them or less often. Its really quite simple.

Find the lowest nicotine level that is satisfying your urge, and self regulate your intake.

Then maybe you should wait till after you got the TOBH, to decide what to do about e-liquid; you may find that you want to use the TOBH all the time, in which case you'd have no need for the higher nic.

Or, if you have plenty of 6mg on hand to use with the dripper, but now and then want to use something different, you could get a bottle of the same flavor but in a far higher mg, so you could just add a tiny bit to the 6mg to use in a different device, and that would save money, since you wouldn't have to buy double bottles everytime you bought eliquid.

But with the TOBH, you might even find that 6mg is too high, which is why it would be a good idea to wait till you get it to do anything.
