I needed 18 mgs to get off analogs (but I wasn't using sub ohm) and I still had cravings for them. Anytime I had a craving, I would vape until it went away; I had to make a conscious effort to not smoke. Ultimately, instead of waiting for the cravings for analogs to stop, I stopped buying them and vaped when I had a craving. Eventually, the need for analogs went away. The one time I cheated and had an analog (after vaping exclusively for 3 months), I hated it!! I thought it would be heavenly, so satisfying. I ended up putting it out less than halfway through and haven't looked back since. :)
I would try the 6 mg and see if that helps your cravings. My advice would be to bite the bullet and just make the transition. It may not be completely painless, but you will be so glad you did. :)

Sounds normal to me.. I was smoking and vaping at 18mg/ml. Of course I was NOT subohming. But smoking and vaping at the same time.. Is the easiest way to quit smoking IMO. Only takes a few queesy stomach to get you to reduce the intake on one of the products. Hopefully you have found a satisifying juice when this happens. So that it's not the sticks you keep. FWIW, 4 mos no SMOKE and currently at 10mg/ml. Still vaping in the 1.6-2ohm range I started with June 2014.

My vaping ritual is 15 minutes every hour, which is longer than I take with analogs. Maybe I just need to step up a bit. When I started it was 12mg with 1'8 ohms, then got atlantis combo and started at 6mg and I was fine at that. Like I said, my rookie mistake may have contributed to wrong decisions. Right timing, about to run out of my ejuice.

When you start vaping to quit smiking I believe you have to change more than just the nicotine delivery device. Let me explain. If you only vape when the urge to smoke hits, you will want a smoke, not a vape. I realized, much like the way the patch works, I needed an almost constant supply of nic to keep from getting the urge to smoke. I just vaped my face off just about every waking hour for the first month. Then nature takes over, I found I was hitting the APV less and less each day. Now I think I just reach for my APV out of habit, not craving.

I have found that I go hours between vapes without even realizing it sometimes.

I think my problem is that I'm taking less than 2 sec draws every pull. Yesterday i tried few pulls with 5-6 seconds each and my urge for a cig went away. I don't think its the nic level, i think its how i vape, also i'm still getting used to the Arctic tank. I tend to stop when i feel it get warm, and i didn't really use my tank to its full potential. Now, when i feel the vapor get warm, i go on for another couple seconds then the tank cools it down.
