Hi all

i would love if you could shear your experience on this

i just started vaping, got an eroll (it's awesome) and some e liquid from a small local vendor

one bottle was 11mg nic and one 6mg nic

i started with the 11mg and after few hits i immediately started to feel my head like it was shrinking inside my skull, i then moved to the 6mg bottle as i though the 11mg is maybe to strong for me, the headache didn't leave, on day 2 i started to feel also my ears got clogged (like i got out of a very loud club after 6 hours of crazy dancing..)
even my wife tried a puff and said it gave her dizziness and she is a analog smoker like me

in this 2 days i vaped like i was smoking analogs (smoked 6-7 Tabasco self rolled analogs a day)

it can't be from not smoking analogs because i do have days i don't smoke at all and i never had something like this

i told the vendor all this and said maybe it's a nic overdoes, but he said that maybe i have a sensitivity to GP

so what do you think? NIC or PG ? did anyone had the same experience and can share what was the solution?

I'm going to try liquid with no nic (from a known vendor) as the first step

I doubt that it would be caused by NIC. As I understand it, NIC is more difficult to absorb coming from a PV, vs. burning actual tobacco. The majority of the NIC being absorbed by the back of the throat. 11mg and 6mg are fairly low strengths... depending of course how much you are used to smoking.

It could be a reaction to PG, however another possibility is that the carto's being used may be faulty and/or dry... causing filler or other non e-juice materials (wick, etc) to melt. I would definitely check out the hardware and look for any obvious melting, or black, burnt materials.

thanks GtrSoloist

i used 2 assembled erolls and got the same feeling from both, so i don't think it was the hardware

i found this in the medical section:

V4. Headache, racing pulse, inability to sleep
Also light-headedness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), dizziness, slurred speech, hiccups, tingling of the extremities (fingertips, toes), jitters, teeth grinding - all these are reported as nicotine overdose symptoms.

and i didn't find anyone saying they got headaches from PG, seems PG is more related to skin irritation, so it seems more like a nic thing at the moment

hope someone that has some experience with this can answer

i have been vaping on and off for 2 years now and im finally got off ciggs 100%, its been a week now and no looking back . it took me over 2 years to figure out i had a mild allergy to the pg which used to give me me a mild head ache and sore throat. so i switched to a higher vg% with a low pg % and now i can vape all day no problem. but the ear clog or pressure increase could be the allergy as well but in the sinuses. recommend buying a flavor or 2 online or from a b&m that are 80% vg or 100% vg.

hope it helps and best of luck!

and if you need anything dont be afraid to ask me or any one else on a forum! everyone here has been supportive and helpful!

thanks Brevin28

i will try to lower PG as well

anyone else can confirm that PG can give the symptoms i mentioned?

it would be great to see some statistical affirmation

Thanks!
not a problem! trust me i know the pain! lol a quick way to check like i did is search the forum for pg allergy you will get some good info or Google pg ecig allergy ... another helpful tip to make sure the ear pressure is from the vaping or something more serious. i always say better to be safe than sorry!

Yes PG sensitivity can affect many things in Your body via mild to harsh allergic like reactions.

Most likely it's not the Nic, as your absorbing minimally 10 times less per puff, more study required here.

A combination of quitting and Vapeing and PG sensitivity most likely the culprit.

I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, don't I wish lol.

Remember water drink lots of it while Vapeing.

What is your juice brand name ? I used to vape 12mg of some juice which made by Hangsen, Liqua but I did not have the symptom like yours (just had your symptom if I did a chain vaping). You said you have this symptom after few puffs but how many puffs?
So did you have a disgusting and weird taste just like melt plastic, look at the vapor that you exhale; did the vapor vanish immediately, the vapor should be bright and vanish immediately if it wasn't, you inhaled smoke, not vapor.
This nicotine level of your juice is medium and low so if the nicotine percentage is true just like the vendor said you will not have this symptom. If your juice is a no name or just like a DIY juice, I doubt the percentage of nicotine in it.
So right now you should check your vapor first if not then change the juice. Most e-juice have a high percentage of PG, if you have allergie when you use the higher percentage of VG or 100% VG e-juice.

the brand is pure e liquid (just an Israeli vendor)
it started right a way.. i just did like 5 puffs and started feeling weird
the taste seemed to be fine, no plastic or anything like that, and the vapor did look like vapor and not smoke
the liquid is 50/50 PG VG

I'm definitely changing the brand, and will try a high VG juice

Thanks!
