I haven't been a great fan of clearomizers over the years, having had no end of frustrating experiences with the CE2 series, but I have to say that the Vivi Nova clone sold by free-cigs.com has completely changed my mind about these things.
After reading many less than complimentary reviews concerning the Vision version I was reluctant to take the plunge, especially since I'm pretty satisfied with the ol' reliable Boges. But, what the heck, right? Gotta keep up with the times. So I plunged (and at $9.00 it wasn't off the deep end or anything).
My experience to date (about a week and a half): absolutely terrific. It hits like a Boge but has none of the weird taste that Boges seem to generate after a couple of days. No dry hits, no burn, no leaks, no gurgles - nothing. A little juice-hungry but I can live with that. Additionally, they clean up super easy - just rinse, dry, quick dry burn and they're good as new. Really.
The one mod I did make - cut a little notch on the silicon hat that sits over the wicks. Completely eliminates any wicking issues. I use a relatively thin juice; 70-30 pg/vg so it may function differently with a thicker mix, but for my tendencies it works flawlessly. I go through about 3ml a day, but even during chain-vaping I haven't noticed any difference in production, flavor, or quality. Highly recommended!
