This is exactly why I will not ever buy a Vivi Nova ever again.

I'm definitely not in the tinkering rebuildable camp.

Many are.

"Green!"

"PURPLE!"

Extra points if you can see a Babylon 5 reference in this... :):snorts:: ::pushes up glasses::)

I just got my first Vivi Nova last week. It's a version 2.5 with the 4 long wicks that extend 8 legs to the bottom of the tube. It's not dripper atty flavor quality, but it's equal to the days when cartos produced good flavor. I haven't had dry hits or leaks or any kind of problems. In fact, it's become my main vape just for the fact that I don't have to top it off every 30 minutes.

From what I've discovered, this is the latest revision of the VN. Even PBusardo likes it. I didn't try V1 or V2, but those had issues according to what I've read.

I got my boge tank with the stainless caps today and it is amazing compared to what I had with the nova. It looks great on my zmax with a stainless drip tip to go with it. Are most other carto tanks this size? Also, i like to top off my tanks when they get low....will I need to refill the poly inside the carto if i just keep topping off the tank?

If i like it enough, then come tax time, this bad boy will be mine:

Fluid Flask

Vaping on one of these things right now, and I've got to say they really thought through the design. It's way easier to use than most carto tanks... you just pull the top off, drip juice in 'til it's full, and you're good to go.

You still get to deal with using punched cartos, but it's about as easy as carto tanks get.

I wouldn't recommend refilling the batting. That's why cartos are cheap -- the idea is that once it's not working too well, you throw it out and put a new one in.

I haven't seen much on the forums about them except for one guy that had a picture and it piqued my interest. I REALLY like the look. I'm excited to grab one up and throw it on my pv!

How long do your cartos usually last? Is it about the same as the old regular atomizers?

Carto's last about a week in your tank when you use a thinner juice and punch the right size holes. 50/50 might even be too thick. Try 60pg/40vg.

I never run any ViVi nova no matter what the resistance more than 4.2v. That's all the juice wicks can keep up with. If you want more heat get a different ohm. Turning it up just burns it.

The only coils really designed to run at higher Watts are the ones you build yourself or dual coils.

I would say if you only have one devise and that's the only carto you use 24/7 it will last a week.

If you have multiple tanks set up all full with cartos they will only last around 2 weeks. Once juice is in the carto the clock starts ticking. Regardless of use.

If you run an LR Boge at 4.2vand an SR at 4.7v you will lengthen that time, save juice and still get a pretty satisfying vape. (7.4watts) Anything above that will taste burned or clog sooner.
