Nichrome 80 24 awg

Hey guys,

I have been searching high and low for 24 gauge nichrome 80 with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have found a ton of 24 gauge nichrome 60 but no 80. Any help would be appreciated.

Try checking the Kanthal company's web site or googling Nicrothal 80. I'm guessing it may be difficult to find in small quantities.

I don't use that small a diameter Nicrothal 80 for the heaters I design for my job. Just too flimsy for heaters running 4 to 8 kilowatts.

I've tried using some of the smallest gauge Nicrothal 80 the company I work for uses but there isn't an atomizer made large enough for a .5 ohm coil let alone 1.5 which is my usual target.
