Thanks too for the suggestions. Tried brushing my tongue (gakkkk). Love lemon tea so that will be a treat! I've put my "top shelf" juices on hold until I can taste the difference between them. It's got to go away soon. :blink:

Vapor's tongue - make sure you are drinking lots of water. I find when I first get up or through the day I loose flavor; if I drink a big bottle of water (I have to add a little sea salt, just a pinch, because I almost got very ill from low sodium drinking so much water. Dr suggested adding a little salt, I sprinkle a little in my water, not enough to flavor it, just a pinch. I also switched to very low pg and enjoying more!).

Great suggestions given so far. I also brush my mouth (roof, tongue, cheeks, teeth) with baking soda. Really helps clean and freshen. Be aware of mouthwash, the alcohol in it might add to the problem (read that elsewhere).

Clark, I just found this thread! I don't need any juice right now, but looking forward to your reopening so I can try some of the juice I am reading such good things about. Enjoy your time off, being self-employed in my own business, making my own products (for dogs, not people), I know it can be exhausting. So chill, have some fun, get some sleep, drink some beer, and I will be lurking for when you reopen.

I am going to write this in large obnoxious letters for anyone who wanders on the thread so please forgive...



*WE ARE AWARE THAT WE HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED BY SOME BOTTLES LEAKING IN SHIPMENT. I was only recently made aware that you need to press down HARD on the caps and twist clockwise until they "Lock." I was under the impression that if you simply turned them clockwise until they could be turned counter-clockwise without coming off that they were "sealed." My bad. I just wanted to let everyone know, in advance, that we will replace all the labels if they come through on the other end damaged, and add a free bottle of liquid to compensate for liquid lost in transit.

If you get a leaky shipment: Send an email to kent@nicoticket.com with pictures of your leaky shipment, and a request for which bottle of liquid you want in return for your time and trouble, and I will make it right asap. The replacement offer is only valid within 24 hours of shipment arrival - we aren't going to replace a half vaped bottle that is 10 days old.

We don't anticipate any leaky bottles going forward - but there may be some that appear as recently as the last couple days. So sorry for the inconvenience. <3

If you look at yesterday’s lead-time guidance it looks like we didn’t get much done yesterday, but Katy and I put 25 orders of pre-steeped liquid in the mail today so I feel pretty good about what we produced. We are still way ahead of previous guidance for hand-mixed orders – I expect to have all of them in the mail by Friday.

The store is presently closed and not accepting new orders. IF all the orders are mixed and shipped on Friday, which I expect they will be, I will be opening the store for existing customers and people whom are subscribed to the newsletter ONLY. After we have caught up on pent up demand of existing customers, we will proceed to fill orders for people whom have NOT purchased previous but are newsletter subscribers. Once those are filled, we will open the store for everyone. At this time, I anticipate opening orders for existing customers on MONDAY 8-26-2013. If you are a potential customer whom is interested in placing an order with us, we highly recommend you sign up for the newsletter in the lower right hand corner of the main Nicoticket splash page. We can’t project when the website will be open for new customer orders until we can assess the demand of existing customers and newsletter subscribers. We will project a full re-opening as soon as we are able.

Going forward, we are anticipating closing the store on a weekly basis… the actual hours will be determined entirely by demand. At this time we will definitely be closing the store at 5pm CST on Friday night and not opening again until Monday morning at approximately 10am CST. Yes, I am going to sleep in. J In any case, when we reach 75 or more hand-mixed orders or more to fill, OR, when hand-mixed lead-times exceed 10 days, we will be closing the store until we get caught up. In any case, if the store does close due to high demand, we will close the store, then proceed to open ordering for existing customers, then newsletter subscribers, then new customers whom wander in off the WWW. The reality is – my existing customer base is one of the most LOYAL in the industry. I am a loyalty guy. As much as I want to take on new business, I only anticipate doing so when and if my existing customer base orders are fulfilled.

I want to set the expectation that a day is coming when no new customers will be accepted. Nicoticket will be confined to servicing existing customers only. New customers, when they are entertained, will be taken on a referral only basis. Due to the present state of regulations concerning the eLiquid industry, I am wholly unwilling to invest the capital necessary to expand this business much beyond our current capacity. That said, demand is insatiable. When and if the FDA comes with a ruling on the future of the eLiquid industry, which is anticipated in October, we will make a determination what the future of Nicoticket is. If there is an overwhelming amount of red-tape and BS, I’ll fold up shop and go back to working as a full-time mental health professional. If the FDA decides they want to make room for small business in America, we’ll make the investments needed to meet additional demand. In the interim, SUPPORT CASAA AND YOUR LOCAL VAPE SHOPS BY MAKING YOUR WISHES KNOWN TO YOUR RESPECTIVE LEGISLATORS.

Thanks so much for the kind words, feedback and vote of confidence. At present, "the plan" is to re-open the store on Monday existing customers. We will then roll it out to newsletter subscribers. Finally, we will be fully reopened. It's difficult to project the timeline because it depends entirely on what flows in... however, if the last existing customer pre-order is any indication, I am expecting to get blasted and be busy for a week filling orders for people who already have one of my liquids as an ADV. Time will tell.

Another Perkin's Paste review, and it's a total disaster. Unfortunately, it's all we have in stock right now until my vacation ends. Whatever will we do? Pandemonium.

I had high hopes for Perkins Paste. I couldn't find any credible reviews on YouTube, but I am a sucker for anything seafood flavored, so I ordered a 100ml tube of this assuming it would live up to Nicoticket's usual stellar reputation for flavor-forward gourmet juice.

Unfortunately, this stuff was just TOO "delicately flavored" with the anchovy. I expected a real hit of old-fashioned anchovy paste, but to my dismay the predominant flavors were 1970's vintage McCormick Instant Minced Onion Flakes and possibly some Lawry's Seasoned Salt -- I couldn't even taste the beef protein.

This juice is a rare flop from the usually stellar Nicoticket team. Order any of the other flavors instead -- they're all five star!

MAXPG has been eliminated entirely - it hasn't been ordered since we opened the site, no one will miss it

80/20 has been eliminated in every flavor with the exception of H1N1 - it was retained because we have one customer whom loves H1N1 in 80/20

65/35 is available across the board

50/50 is availible across the board

20/80 has been eliminated entirely because it is generally so close to MAXVG that it is redundant

MAXVG has been retained, but there is a new qualifier... it now reads (MAXVG, still contains PG). This was done to clear up any confusion about us offering PURE VG JUICES. All of our offerings without exception have a PG component.
