Hi, this is going to be one long review be warned.
NicoTicket H1N1, 18mg nicotine, born 2/11/2013.
Colour - deep amber
Smell - floral notes, cinnamon, slight hints of caramel.
Vape - incredibly smooth silky vape, lots of vapour, dry on the palate.
Taste and smell - now this is where it gets complicated, i have read the reviews and there's seems to be so many different tasting notes on this, so i will give you my notes, what i tasted.
It reminds me of a malboro light crossed with an mild French cigar, i get that papery dry tobacco leaf mouth-feel when i vape this. I pick up a lovely floral note as well, my mind thinks heather honey ( an gem of a honey, subtle and aromatic). I get the cinnamon, not in your face but just enough to tickle the taste buds. Then if you let it sit in your mouth the back of throat gets flashes of red port, raisins, touches of caramel, dry hazelnut. These are like shooting stars, they light up the palate briefly but never linger long enough to overwhelm the tobacco characteristics of this vape. Superb.
On the exhale especially when you breath it out through your nose i get black pepper and the hint of port. My none smoking friends picked up on similar smells last night in the pub, so i know im not imagining most of what i think im getting.
Do i like it? let me put it this way, i stopped smoking in May 2013 and started vaping around the end of september, i tried tobacco e liquids and all were horrid, they were too sweet, too chemically just plain aweful. I then discovered fruit/desert vapes, which im a big fan off. But H1N1 is in my opinion a tobacco vape which doesnt try to play the 'desert' game, but is a stand alone, grown up, complicated, sophisticated e liquid.
I don't vape it all day, but during the evenings when i drink my single malts whisky, this is my go to vape, its works so well with whisky. Its also one i take to the pub and one i enjoy after a meal.
I think that if Nicotickets tobacco range, current and any new variations are anything similar to the feel that H1N1 delivers then i will always have one in the draw.
thats it, hope you enjoyed reading.
cheers baly
