Why reinvent the AVS just over concerns of paint when they sell stainless attys, makes no sense, just buy stainless if your concerned about it.

Because an added benefit would be the ability to hot swap atties in case of failure without having to drain the tank. It would be possible with the 510 and other bottom feeders, but I don't think it can be done with a 901 though. Well, on second thought, there is no reason that a 901 cannot be a bottom feeder as well seeing as the breather hole on the side of the 901 would be in the dry portion of he tank. (Bells, Whistles and Lights Flashing, Just had an Idea Lol. Lemme see if I can put it to paper)

I've been trying to read through the many pages on this thread. This guy from Germany (way ahead of the game in e-gig technology) has really nice stuff he makes , Mods/attys/feed systems he goes into some detail about the atty/feed system(uses a SS mesh wick wrapped with kanthal wire) eer ok LOL, but I'm afraid it's all over my head :(
Excellent & interesting read though.

I didn't even think of that added benefit...that would be great if we could swap out attys. Also, if you flood your atty, you don't have to drain the whole tank to blow it out.

I dont beleive that you empty your tank to empty an overflooded atty Zai!!! lol

You just unscrew the AVS and blow from the mouthpiece. I have said it on forum already. You dont read me Zai :D

Thanks BuGG my friend.

Hello David's mom. I know that all moms try to help their childs but maybe you use the wrong way my dear. But I do respect older people so maybe better for you to end this here. What do you say?:)

I'm sorry that you feel that way. My post had nothing to do with helping David. I'm not speaking for him here nor does he need my help.

I posted in this thread in response to Zaiden's and others' health concerns regarding the exterior finishes on atomizers and their safety and suitability for use in the avs/afs. A few posters, including you, suggested using a "silver" atomizer. The thread as it developed was a discussion about the exterior finish of atomizers, not the interior of the atomizer, an argument which may have some merit, and might be an interesting topic for open discussion on another thread. My comments were related to the atomizer's exterior finishes only, and I stand by them.

Respectfully,
Susan

It's OK Susan, as you see we are all from different parts of the world and things aren't always interpreted correctly, thus some things will be taken in wrong context. We always work them out. ;)
I always try to buy stainless steel atties and hope that they don't just mean stainless in appearance :)

If someone concerns about the external surface of the atomizer he has to concern about all healthv issues that comes from the usage of the atomizer. But even if we concern only about the external surface of an atomizer we have to have the same concern for the internal part of it because its the same. I explained what happens in case China does chemical leaching on them but David's mom says that still stands by her concerns without answering my questions or giving some answers. Maybe the concern is only for the outside of the cilynder just because AVS works that way? I am wondering:(

ps.... If David's mom has good intentions maybe a small research or a deeper thought wouldnt be bad before posting especially when she posts on another's manufacturer forum and especially when she is another's manufacturer mom.

I hope too that China puts the right nichrome wire, the right ceramic, the right rope B-R. I also hope they dont put liquid to prevent rust on wires. And I hope that they put the right wool and the right silicone inside atomizer. I also hope that they dont put chemicals inside and outside atomizer or to the brass pieces. I hope for many things like you do buddy:)

Imeo,

How difficult would it be to design and create an atomizer? I would not only love this creation, but would help finance it if you are interested. Couldn't we also just bypass the atomizer all together...the liquid just needs to heat up, correct? Couldn't there be a better way to get this done inside the AVS without an atomizer? Just trying to see how far we can go with this discussion.
