So I read a post from Jerry not long ago about his telling people we may not need as much nicotine as we may think and I have to agree. I don't think that this is as true without WTA but I do believe now that we may overdo the nic to make up for not having WTA in juice. That was the case for me, I recently tried to cut down from 36 to 30 before I got the WTA juice and the 30 didn't do it for me.

So after a period of adjustment, the 24 WTA is definitely doing the trick nic wise and everything else wise. However, I went a couple hours today at work where I couldn't vape, this used to happen to me off and on when I smoked and I'd be croaking for one, with the 36 mg nic I could get through that, so I'd say I was getting more nic from vaping this high than while smoking. The 24 WTA on the other hand seems pretty similar to smoking as far as how long I can go without it, and after a few toots of that I was back to normal again.

So this seems to be the ideal level for me, I am glad I listened to Jerry and didn't spike his juice to 36 like I had planned, and jsut stuck with vaping what for me was a ridiculously low nic content, I started at 28 mg way back when I first started vaping and tried 24 once but it was way too weak for me then, and that was when I was smoking a pack of analogs a day as well.

I'm not looking to cut down on nic or ever quit it, people go their whole lives missing smoking to some degree, even a lot of vapers do, and resort to snus or whatever. I have found the holy grail here and it is 24 mg WTA! :)

Hey Cobra,

Just wanted to say thanks for the kinds words. Please remember that I'm not a expert on anything and your opinion holds just as much value as mine. Yes I do feel that vapers think "more nic is better" and in some cases that might not always work when chasing the dragon. I notice when I used larger doses of Nic only eliquid I became amped and a little edgy. Like the kid who started drinking coffee at the age of 5.

It never really help for me when I increased the nic dosage to 36 MG's. Please just remember these are just random thoughts and not fact. I think when WTA comes into play it becomes synergistic with nic while using a lower nic dosage.

Hopefully in the near future we will be doing some cool research regarding ecigs and the products we vape.

Well Jerry what I do know is that you are more experienced with WTA than I am, so I do place value in your advice and appreciate it, as well as the words of wisdom from the other vapers that hang around here. In the end though other people may make suggestions which may point us in this or that direction, but ultimately, our bodies will decide what is the best way to go. Of course we have to always be listening to them ;)

A lot of us, myself included, started out thinking that nicotine naturally has calming effects, and when we feel edgy, then maybe we need more nicotine. There's no question in my mind that this is not the case at all, and as you point out, you get more edgy, not less so, with more nicotine. It is definitely a stimulant. For me it was more looking to intoxicate myself enough to ward off the withdrawal from smoking.

Of course those of us who use WTA know that what we were looking for to calm down wasn't nicotine, it was this other stuff that smoking delivers but vaping regular nicotine juice does not. So with that in place, the "extra" nicotine that we were seeking to overcompensate for the lack of the other stuff that is missing in regular juice does not become necessary.

Now with that said, I do know that nicotine content is going to matter as well, up to a certain point anyway, and our task is to discover what that point is, if we choose to do so. If you feel great on, say, 24 mg, then there's no real need to, other than just looking to make sure that you are getting the ultimate experience from vaping, which is definitely a worthy goal.

Back when I smoked, I do know that I needed to smoke the strongest cigarettes out there, my wife smokes a light cigarette which never really satisfied me in the least. So I used to think, well that's because there is a lot less nic in hers, however now I wonder if that's really true, maybe it's because there are more of the other alkaloids in the stronger ones, who knows.

So my mind is open here and I will be trying the 12 mg sample of mad matador that was given to me, when I got it I thought man this is a third of the nic that I'm used to so I'll be mixing that up for sure, but now I'm curious as to what the heck 12 mg vapes like. So I will try a bit and see :)

Friday night I sat and chain-vaped my regular 24 mg juice while watching TV. Come bedtime, I couldn't sleep... laid there for over two hours before I took some melatonin and finally conked out. I figured the wakefulness was nicotine related.

Tonight I'm vaping DK-TAB WTA juice and I'm yawning as I write this. Maybe I can just remember to switch to WTA juice in the evening before bedtime and that'll do the trick.

I'm not the most energetic person you might say. I officially became a couch potato when they brought me home from the hospital shortly after I was born :) I take a lot of supplements though and some of them give me the energy I need to be reasonably active, which means sitting down most of the day and doing a minimal amount of walking around, like for instance to the bathroom :) I have my wife to wait on me though otherwise and thankfully she does a fine job and has decades of experience with this :)

So oddly enough, since I have been vaping WTA I do not feel as tired as I did. It's only a slight difference but it's still noticeable. So that's just another benefit of WTA for me and one I was not expecting.
