Nicotine Base Ratio Question

I want to make my own juice for the first time and I want to make it as simple as possible. I vape Grape flavor almost all the time. Right now I am buying grape from two different local vapor shops and I mix their juices together and it gives me close to what I want. I like a lot of flavor. One of the vendors seems to use almost all PG and the other seems to use a mix of maybe 50/50. I'm guessing on that.....

So my question is when I buy my nicotine base should I buy a 50/50 blend or 100% of one of the other? I want to make my calculations as easy as possible. I've looked briefly at the calculators and they seem a little different.....does it make it more simple if you use a base that is 100% one or the other or is it just as easy to get a percentage base.

I'm really new to this, so this may be a stupid question.

Your flavorings are going to PROBABLY be PG-based. So if you're 20% flavor, for example, it might be impossible to reach certain percentages if your base is 50/50. Especially if your base is at a low nic level - you didn't specify what you were planning to get.

If your nic is 100 mg/ml and you have PG and VG in addition to flavors to dilute with, that gives you the MOST flexibility...

I hope that makes sense....

I recall getting some 36ml nicotince once, cuz it was on sale. Then I found using the calculator that it was impossible to reach my desired PG/VG and nic...

50/50 is probably OK if you want to vape near that - but at some point, you'll want PG and or VG by itself, too...

to ecf Evajo. Nice to meet you and so glad you are here. Just a wonderful place to be as far as I am concerned. Didn't take me long to get into the whole DIY. I use 100mg nic in pg because I think it is more economical. The best nic I've used is from RTSVapes and I also like MyFreedomSmokes.
