I went from a can+ per day of Copenhagen snuff (26 years) to vaping over two years ago, never looked back.

Started on 26mg liquid with cartomizers, tanks, etc., now using 6mg with my drippers. Still a nicotine junkie, and getting PLENTY of it.

He should try yours and adjust nicotine levels to his comfort.

Wow...a 26 is high. He does about 1/2 can a day or so. Do you think he would need quite that high? I vape a 12 very comfortably and definitely want to get to 0 nic over some time. I am guess that will be too low for him. He has tried my flavors, and likes a few. Thank you for the input.

Im about to mail off an MVP, some toppers and juice to my son in GA...trying to get him to quit both smoking and dip. He has had horrendous problems with his teeth/gums and I told him this would clear all that up, so....fingers crossed!!!

I hope it works for him. I am hoping for my boyfriend as well!

MY wife smokes black and milds and sometimes she smoke on a Hookah. I bought her an ego twist and put some 6mg juice in the protank mini and she said the nicotine burns her throat. I told her 6mg is nothing compared to the amount of nic in a black and mild. I just dont get it. I get the hit to throat and like it but she doesnt seem to.

CASAA's page on smokeless tobacco: Smoke-free Tobacco

There is a lot of misinformation out there on dip and smokeless tobacco- dip isn't particularly dangerous, especially compared to smoking. Vaping might even have some hidden health hazards we don't know about. In addition, there are some vapers that quit smoking that both vape and use smokeless tobacco, for various reasons: ST does a better job of supplying nicotine and all the alkaloids in tobacco than vaping, while vaping provides the feel of smoking.

it may not be the nic. at all but the ratio of pg/vg try lowering the pg or go 100% vg for less throat hit. Some people are sensative to vg myself included. I vape 100%vg with no throat issues. Good luck!!

It isn't the throat hit he wonders about...it is the nicotine level, but thanks for your comments.

Do you think that maybe the PG is too high for her giving her too much throat hit? 6MG nic is low so I wouldn't think that it would be the nic that burns.

Hey there, I just started vamping yesterday. Had been using dip and snus up until yesterday. About half a tin per day. Copenhagen wintergreen or LC and if not dipping I used 10 or so portions of snus throughout a day. I purchased an EVOD starter kit with a 30/70 VG/PG 18mg nic juices, I have had no cravings for smokeless tobacco, last dip/snus was Monday night.

Make sure she has it set to a good voltage.

That is great!!! My boyfriend seems to like the vaping, but hasnt' made the change over completely, though I think he will soon. We found a couple flavors he likes now so that is helping.

That's how I started vaping, and never touched the Copenhagen again.

Found flavors I really liked, the nicotine level that satisfied me and the equipment that I enjoy using.

Best of luck to him!

I am waiting for some 510 dripping atomizers in the mail. We are going to use them for tasting first... and if I decide I like the dripping, I may go for a mod of some sort. The thing is...I don't want to get into rebuilding so I would need something that requires very little maintenance and will last...otherwise I will need cheap and disposable. :)

I went from a roll a week cope/skoal habit to vaping pretty easily. I started on 24 mg for the first couple weeks...then 18 for about two weeks and then down to 12...now 9. I have a tendency to chain vape and find that 9 is perfect for me...your mileage may vary ;)

He goes through a can every few days...I think the 12 will be good to start him with...and that is what I use too. We both want to go to 0nic pretty quickly. I have a tenancy to chain vape as well (not so much because of the nic...but because I like the flavor!!! lol)...but I have found it dries my wicks too fast and get a bit of a burnt taste...so I have really cut it back and that has helped alot
