You have the answer above . With the exception of one misplaced decimal .Actually 18 mg/ml equals 1.8% by volume.
A good tool to calculate combining different nicotine strengths is to download the "e-juice me up" calculator.
At the top, click on tools ,click nic combine and enter your data.
Of course knowing the math helps greatly if you get a result you were not expecting and would like to prove to yourself that the result of
the calculator is correct.

okay so i have 2 bottles of the same exact juice, except one is 18mg nic, and the other is 6mg nic. now if i combine the the two juices will i have 12mg nic?? how does that work?? they are both 10ml bottles

Thanks for asking the question icume2. I was wondering last night how to figure this out. And thanks to recidivas for the formula.. ;-)~

If everything was in a vacuum and perfectly measured to begin with, then yes.

that 18 mg actually means 18 milligrams per milliliter. It should be notated as 18 mg/ml. Also notated as .18% nicotine by volume.

So it works out mathematically, but in reality, it'll just be somewhere *around* the 12 mg mark.

Pardon me, your slip is showing! Your slipped decimal, that is! Lol

18mg/ml is 1.8% nicotine.
