Hello-
I did use the search engine and checked the faqs, can't find info on this one.
I was given a Smoke Assassin e-cig kit free from a friend who didn't like it. I cannot find a model #.
I like the concept however I know I won't do well with the nicotine free replacement filter cartridges.
It is possible to buy nicotine refills even though this model was sold with no-nic atomized cartridges?
Here is all the info I can find:
It's a green and white pack. The box top reads "Smoking anywhere"
The pack itself reads "Super Mini cigarette"
The bottom has a Smoke Assassin sticker on it.
The side of the pack says CE
The refill cartridges read "SGS" Super mini cigarette atomized cartridges" A clear sticker says "tobacco" and "NO"
The cig tip itself glows red when inhaled.
Again, I need the nicotine refill- it's a filter that slips on the end of the cig.
Thanks so much!

The 'refills' on this system are not cheap... in fact, this whole 'system' is very expensive...

Take my advice... your Friend gave this over-priced system to you for a reason.... I assure you, it's over-priced and under-performs... (believe me)

Get a (no box) Joye 510 (two complete eCigs) system from CigNot for $35 - You'll get TONS of vapor & flavor and you'll THANK me later for suggesting it. ;)

*(Unfortunately, CigNot is sold out of this system until Saturday or so.... but this one will be worth the wait)....

Open up a paper clip, poke it through the hole in the end of the cart. You will be able to push the inner cart up. With tweezers remove the filler, rinse it in hot water and dry it by pressing it with a paper towel. When its dry, put the filler back into the inner cart. Drip your chosen liquid onto it, about 9 or 10 drops should do. It should look like a slushy, but not be a pool of liquid. Dab it off with a paper towel if you get too much in there. Use the atomizer to push the inner cart back down and you're good to go.

Okay, remembering I am brand new to this-
I followed your procedure just to try it out--was able to remove the inner filter medium, so I think I can do what you describe.
I currently smoke non-menthol ultra light analogs. What is my best be for a loquid and where can I purchase same.
Again, I did search the forum but there is way TMI for a newbie.
The friend who gave me the kit also gave me 15 of the no nicotine refills. How many times can I reasonably use the process above on a single filter?
Thanks, Kilroy!

@Kilroy-I'm brand new to this but will search for info on your response.
@Blond- I know Smoke Assassin has a site, but they don't sell nicotine refills.
My hope here is that someone has a Smoke Assassin and knows the model #or where I can get nicotine refills.
Thank you both!

If it says "super mini" on the box, chances are it is a standard RN4081. Understand that these devices are re-branded or branded to the name of bulk buyer's choice. In this case, Smoke Assassin.

Take a look at the link below. I bet it's the same device. Then look at the price of the device (on Electronic Ash's site) as compared to what your friend paid for it. Lesson learned, yes?

RN4081 Super Mini e-Cigarette Starter Kit - $27.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

Any e-liquid at all will work in your mini from a plethora of resellers. But, you may find that the mini is simply an introductory device and not very satisfying. Don't fret it. Nearly all of us started the same way...

@Richie- that IS indeed the one. Thanks.
So it appears I can order nicotine cartridges that fit the RN4081 to start and then try refilling later.
No idea what kind of liquid to buy. I'm not intersted in flavors, etc, just something that resembles a plain old light cigarette.
Thanks very much.

Yeah, yeah -- we ALL want a plain cigarette taste when we start. LOL You'll be vaping Pina Colada or Bailey's Irish Cream in no time. <g>

The links below in order -- Marlboro, Menthol and blank cartridges.

SK8084 mini e-cigarette Cartridges Marlblo (5-pack) - $3.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

SK8084 mini e-cigarette Cartridges Menthol (5-pack) - $3.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

Blank SK8084 Cartridges (5-pack) - $1.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

My advice would be to buy small quantities of each, Lookin. Chances are you wont stay with this particular model very long. Electronic Ash is in upstate NY, so you'll have your stuff in no time flat. 'Taras' is the owner's name of Electronic Ash. He's an absolute Prince of a human being. If you shoot him an email (thru the site) he can confirm if this absolutely is the same model and that everything is compatible.

Also, check out the (small 10ml) e-liquids on his site. That ($4.99) 10ml bottle will fill those blanks NUMEROUS times. It should be real clear to you now how much of a rip-off that Smoke Assassin is.

I may have led you astray, Lookin. I'm not certain if those 8084 cartridges are compatible with the RN4081. As I understand it, the 8084 is slightly smaller than the 4081.

Again, confirming this with Taras is the fool-proof way of doing this. And, Taras' stock is NOT limited to what is on his web site.

I can't stress this enough though -- don't spend a lot of money on this model device. It's a 'get acquainted' with vaping model. I KNOW that you just want to plug a pre-filled cartridge in and be done with it. I was the same way, many of us were. But, if I had to do it again, I would buy the $4.99 liquid, some blanks to play with and move onto a new model in a week or two.

Good luck to you.

Richie-
You told me you thought it was an rn 4081, not a 4072. It sure looks like it.
I am going with the one i was given because i need a nicotine device that I can use while in smoke free environs. i am unemployed and really can't afford a whole new device. At least if i have this for the time being...it's better than nothing.
I sent a message to Taras.
If it's really the best idea to order the liquid I will.
There's a reason folks start out with prefills, I think. It's because it's tough off the bat to digest all the info and suggestions and dtrengths and flavors and opinions all at once,.
Okay- so let's assume I decide to fill my own.
I can buy rn4081 blanks.
Then e-liquid Marlbro medium or low? I currently smoke Pall Mall ultra light 100's analogs
If you choose not to answer so many questions, I understand. I will try to sift through the tmi to figure it out.
Thanks!

Lookin, I'm so sorry. I inadvertently typed out RN4072 instead of RN4081. I used both models at one time or another and got the numbers mixed up. I know how confusing starting out is and I fear i just confused you further... my post has been edited and corrected. Sorry, man.

As far as how much nicotine to get --

Most studies have shown that vaping nicotine isn't like smoking a cigarette because the vapor doesn't get nearly as hot. So, the amount of nicotine your body absorbs is less via the e-cigarette (or PV -- Personal Vaporizer). Toward that end, I would suggest 16mgs of nicotine in your case. (some sites generically call this "medium", some call it "high" -- you have to read the fine print to find the true nic in mgs)

There is a sub-forum here dedicated to the RN4081. It should be helpful to narrow this down to one forum so that you're not over-loaded with info.

@Duffman- not negative at all. I will try to pull together the 35 bucks, if they get them back in stock.
Right now, though, Electronic Ash has free shipping over 13.99, which matters when you've got no $$. I need a device I can use ASAP.
@ Richie- I'm def going with your suggestion. Does the 4081 produce a smoke like vapor? It is okay to use in smoke free environments, right?

I don't want to sound negative here but if you can scrape a few bucks together go to cignot.com and buy a 510 kit and throw that thing you have in the trash....as you'll never be happy with it. Just my 2 cents!

I don't disagree, Duff. But, I think there is a learning curve via one's personal experience. Lookin' got his PV for free so his investment is nil at this point. The idea, IMHO, is to prevent him from spending too much money on the Super mini. Getting started can be overwhelming with the info out there. It's hard for anyone to understand; "throw that thing out and buy this instead'. Then, see that repeated by 15 different posters with 15 different models suggested.

If he buys 10mls of liquid and a 5 pack of blanks, it's about $10 - $12. So, when he comes back in a week and says; "Man, these carts don't last too long at all!", we wont feel too bad to suggest a 510 or an eGo or whatever. <g>

Geez. You just HAD to live in NJ, didn't ya? LOL

Jersey (as of a month ago) is one of the few states where vaping falls under the same guidelines as smoking. But, you can always stealth vape -- there's no odor and the vapor dissipates in seconds. I've stealth vaped on airplanes, on the NYC subway system, stores and even walking through a hospital.
