Was wondering how you guys and gals transfer nicotine solution to smaller bottles? What is the easiest and safest way? I plan on storing nic in 30ml round brown glass with poly caps but definitely don't want any accidents during transfer. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Depending upon how many you are trying to fill - if only a couple a 10ml syringe is enough or a small funnel. Takes a little bit of a nack not to over fill though. Sometimes I use the funnel and then top the bottles off with the syringe.

I use 30ml bottles for daily vape juice and 120ml bottles for storage kept in a box at the back of the freezer.

A good rule of thumb is to transfer nic base into bottles that will only be out of the freezer for 3 months. In my specific case, I use 120mls because I mix for 3-4 people but we all go kinda light (6-15mg/ml range) and none of us vape more than 3mls/day.

I just use a small funnel and pour carefully. I do it on a metal sheet pan on a table next to my sliding glass door that I keep open for ventilation. I use a camping style headlamp to shine on the bottle so I can easily see through it and not overflow. Never had a problem and have never spilled.

I'm choosing to use 30ml bottles to freeze. I only...as of now...plan on making juice for myself so I don't think I would go through a 30ml bottle of 100mg nic in three months. I currently vape 12mg about 6 mils a day roughly. Any input here would be appreciated. I was thinking of using a funnel but the idea to top off with a syringe hadn't crossed my mind...thank you for that. I'm trying to get my head on straight about everything before I dive into DIY head first. I plan on starting small but for the nic solution I wanted to go ahead and stock up before a tax in my state kicks in this June. Its only 5¢ per ml on ejuice but for a 1 liter bottle of nic that's 50 bucks tax!

What kind of input are you looking for? I can give a couple notes of caution that I believe are standard and are important.
1st - store in a box (locked or unlocked) in the back of the freezer to prevent prying eyes (children) from finding it - this is important even if you do not have any children in the house - you may have one visit and you need to be prepared in advance.
2nd - store the mixed nic safely also - you may not need the same level of protection, but some protection should be taken.

6ml x90 days=450ml...30ml at100mg makes maybe 200ml at 12 is my rough guess without out a pen and calculator.

Ahh so a 60ml would probably work better in my case. Thanks! I don't think I want to go any bigger than that because I do plan on dropping to 6mg and less in the future.

Yes I plan on storing my nic solution repackaged back in the box the bottles are shipped in...each wrapped in tinfoil tucked in the bottom corner of my deep freezer which is downstairs in my laundry room. All my other mixing supplies will be tucked away securely locked in a wardrobe away from any access by children, pets, as well as other adults until I need them. Thank You again for all the advice!

you can still can go 30ml.There is no rules on a 90 days supply. It does not take that long from freezer to use.

After thinking about it though a 60ml bottle would be easier/safer to work out of IMO. Wider opening at the top for easier transfer. Larger base means more stability and less chance of tip over. I plan on purchasing a large 1/4" stainless steel pan to do my mixing on so if there are any spills its contained in the pan.
