I was hoping madvapes can explain the nicrome wire to me.

For example how do I get 1.7ohm-3.5ohm with that wire? Does it have to do with certain amounts of loops ?
How many atties can you make with one package ? Of course that's average

And will you be selling any wick soon? So far the few places I know Carrie wick and wire have ok prices , but know from buying from suppliers it can be a lot cheaper and still make there money.

One place I just got wick I spent 4.99 for 3ft like really that's not a lot at all I want to be able to buy ten feet and feel good about the purchase ya know what I'm saying ?

The length determines the ohms. It doesn't matter if you make it into one big loop or a hundred tiny loops.

If the wire is rated at 12 ohms per foot, then 1 inch is 1 ohm, 6 inches is 6 ohms, etc.
If the wire is rated at 24 ohms per foot, then 1 inch is 2 ohms, 6 inches is 12 ohms, etc.

I just looked at the site and see that it's rated 27ohms/ft, so each inch of wire has a resistance of 2.25 ohms.
For 1.5 ohms, you need 0.66 inches.
For 3.5 ohms, you need 1.55 inches.

Easy way is to use a meter, you can use a piece of 0 resistance wire twisted around one end, hold the black lead to the 0 resistance wire, then touch the red to the Nichrome wire and you will get your resistance reading, as you slide the red lead further away the resistance will change and you will see it on your meter, just stop and put a bend in that end when you get the reading of resistance you want,,, snip with nail clippers at your bend and snip other end at the beginning of your twist. Now you have your perfect length of resistance wire, metered to what you want, Done !
