Try just installing one coil. If you are going dual coil you are cutting your resistance in half. Not enough room under the nimbus's hood to get a dual coil very high. I have the nimbus with a dual coil at .5 ohms, and it is pretty crowded in there. Also if you get a dual build over one ohm then it will take longer to heat up than a single at 1.5 ohms. Use the 30 AWG, it has more resistance and will give you the best shot at getting higher ohms if you must go duals, add more wraps or go to a larger size diameter. Try a 3/8" drill bit or a 14 gauge blunt tip syringe needle, should be able to get your ohms you need to fire.
