Nitecore D2 Digicharger

My new D2 just arrived so I took the battery out of my REO and popped it in. The D2 read it at 3.6v and started charging. At 3.7v it said charging was finished. Am I missing something here? I can't find any info about this and it worries me that it won't recharge my batteries to 4.2v.

Any thoughts?

Does not sound good, any updates on this? I got one recently and its good so far.

Have another battery to try? That'll at least tell you if you have a charger issue or battery issue.

My Nitecore i2 charges my VTC5 batteries to 4.17V as tested on my DMM.

Is there a selector switch to set? Seems to be set perfect for li-fe batteries

I have been having problems with mine also. I posted about it a few weeks back. The D2 always reads the volts on the high end. The batteries charge to 4.2v, but when checked on my DMM they are actually in the 4.12-4.14v range. My old charger would charge my batteries to 4.24v every single charge and was the same when checked on my DMM. I have sent multiple e-mails to NiteCore but have yet to get a response. I think I will just file an Ebay claim and send it back to the place I bought it from.
