Hi I have had my nitcore i4 for about a month now recently the third bay stays lit up like it has a fully charged batt in it even when its empty. but lights act normally with a batt in it. any idea what could be going on here?
I concur, for the most part, with Switched, however I would add that if you are using protected batteries I would keep a close eye on it. If you are using unprotected batteries, I would just get another charger. I would not risk a fire or venting if the charger malfunctioned.

I got one today (v2). Something was rattling around inside it so I opened it up and there was 1 choke laying loose and 1 hanging on by 1 of the 2 wires.
The worst soldering I have seen in years. I bought it on the recommendations of others but I am really regretting buying this.
well seems that the thrird bay is over charging...batts in that bay are coming off as 4.32v... I think its still under warranty...came from fasttech...waiting for a responce...we shall see
I re-soldered the choke that had plum fell off the board on mine. Touched up many crapy solder joints and its working now. I have a replacement on the way from the ebay seller so if this one keeps working I'll have two.
Will be keeping a close eye on the battery voltages when they come off.

well I was offered "a little discount via a store credit if I'm willing to keep it"
guess I will just find another somewhere else and keep this one and take it apart to see if I can find the prob and maybe do some re-soldering and keep it as a spare since the other 3 bays seem to be ok
