Alright ladies and gentlemen I finally got my first e-cig and without any trouble with customs even though I had my njoy shipped from the USA to Canada. My name is Zak and I've really only been smoking for a year but for the past 8 months I have seriously stepped up my nicotine habit and since I play sports I'm not interested in dealing with analogs anymore. The shipping was fast and there was no tax and no duty on the product. It came with 10 carto's which is pretty good considering I've been puffin mine all day and it shows no signs of stopping :) Everything is packaged nicely and securely, there were no leaks or broken utilities in the box. Everything works excellent. I was unsure if I should go with a cheaper generic model but I came to the conclusion that it cost 70$ and with 10 cartomizers that pays off the amount of analogs I would've smoked anyways. It is very well made and all the threads are flawless. I had smoked an analog when I woke up but since my package arrived I have laid my pack to rest. The taste is not very strong or great, but heck as long as it's not a cigarette I'm fine with it. The throat hit is quite nice and has a warm feeling. The look of the product is very appealing and will likely not be spotted by most people. I've already ordered some e-juice to refill the empty carto's with and have a very good feeling about this whole idea of smoking without smoking.
Let me know what you think about the npro duo(2N1)

I haven't tried Njoy products - my and my Kr8 are buddy-buddy. :)

But I'm glad it's working for you! Once you get some nice juice in there, you'll really love it. Most people don't like the pre-filled stuff that comes with any kit a whole lot.

I'm assuming you're young-ish if you've been smoking for about a year. I'm 21, and sometimes I think about how lucky we are to be living in the age we do. I smoked longer than you, but still not for the decades a lot of people here have been.

I had tried everything to quit, and everything had failed. I finally succeeded with e-cigs. I am still young enough to heal from smoking, and live a normal life.

The people here who are 40, 50, 60, and beyond, weren't lucky enough to have e-cigs around when they were young. Many of them may never totally heal from decades of smoking. Some already have smoking-related health issues.

We are so freakin' lucky.

well, I'm only 19 and was smart enough not to smoke while i was in school but now that it's time for big boy school (university) I decided I might as well start making more better choices. I only started smoking when I couldn't play sports due to some pretty nasty knee injuries. Pieces of bone broke off and were floating around in my knee (not fun trust me.) So I've had two knee surgeries and ever since then I've been smoking since I had to stay at home for at least two months each time and was using crutches for another 3 months for each surgery. I always enjoyed smoking when I'd be out partying and stuff but only then did I get addicted, it's so sneaky how it happens eh? One day you are smoking a few the next you are craving a pack. I always knew I'd enjoy an e-cig because i preferred vaporizing weed more than smoking (don't judge I'm from BC so it's basically part of life) I've also completely stopped smoking weed as well (no vaping weed either.) I must say it's much more njoyable to vape nicotine than to smoke it. Spent a fair part of my government tax return on the product and am very pleased that I didn't buy a carton of analogs instead. Thanks for the info, I'm looking into a few local stores that sell some tasty e-juice. I just found some grape (vg) that is apparently very tasty from a local store for only 20$ for 30 ml with 24 mg nicotine.

ah ok well I was just saying I'm giving all the needless harm including that other drug. It won't come up again don't worry.

I'm still puffin on this njoy and i'm wondering if I should order a 36 mg nicotine flavourless and combine it with a nic-free or 18 mg flavoured? Is it alright to combine different brands and flavours?

Sure! Combine away. You can even make juice from scratch (I do).

Just make sure you are careful of your nic doses. If you combine equal parts 36mg, and no-nic, you wind up with 18mg. If you combine equal parts 36mg and 18mg, you wind up with 27mg.

I mix flavors and juices together all the time. As long as you keep track of the nic dose, it's fine. You just may wind up with some stuff you don't like, so start with small quantities.

The local shop in my town is down to $16.

I get 901's from esmokey treats for 7.99. Last for weeks a piece. I've had a few go over a month. I never had much luck with njoy. One bad experience after another. Customer service wasn't bad, but their equipment is overpriced IMO.

My second ecig was an NJoy NCig. Even after reading the comments from here and seeing the concerns about unreliable equipment from all vendors, I decided to overpay at our local mall ($95 for a starter!!!) because they had a one year warranty for their batts and attys.

I was a regular at the mall for the next 7 months as I traded out 1-2 attys a month and at least 1-2 batts a week. So even though I overpaid, I was pretty happy because I had a limitless supply of equipment as I learned how to use it.

I think the experience with it helped me feel more comfortable when I finally upgraded to an eGo.

My problem was they sold the started kit for 79$. They had no replacement parts, just carts. So I almost quit smoking all together and them, BAM burnt out atty. People at the store looked at me like I was crazy when I showed them the part I needed. Got a hold of Npro and they mailed me a new one, no problem. Got that one and it lasted less than a week. Repeated the same process and got another, but bought one this time. Then a battery died. So I had 2 atty's 1 battery and was several hundred dollars in the red. I found ecf not long after this, and just wrote off my njoy equipment as a learning experience like you said.

Cassie, (MistressNomad) you are so wise for your age. I'm glad you young people see how lucky you really are to have these available while you're still young and before you've ruined your health. Just a couple of generations ago the world was a different place. When I started smoking back in the 60s (I was your age....21) EVERYBODY who was "cool" smoked....and even doctors advertised them on t.v. And....get this....they were $1.50/carton. I remember in '67 when I went away to college, we'd all have our cartons, but usually somewhere during the week we'd end up having to buy a pack or two out of the vending machine in the laundry room. I can remember everybody having a fit because they were a quarter a pack out of the machine. We all talked about what a rip off. Even worse, if you went to a bar and had to buy a pack out of the vending machine there, they were as high as 50 cents a pack!!! We could hardly believe they could get by with such highway robbery! Ha. It's no wonder that so many of us got hooked on the nasty things.

I've battled the addiction now for 40 years. I never ever believed I'd be able to quit. Since I got hooked (way back then) I've seen the prices go up, up, up......taxes, taxes, taxes.....and the whole culture change. But the addiction doesn't change. IT's very cruel, actually. These e-cigs are Godsends for sure. I've called my eGo my miracle several times....and I truly believe it!

I got my sister a 510 and she loves it. Before she knew anything about them, she said, "so this is the the cool new 21st century way to smoke, huh?" I told her I hoped so.

Rambling........it just struck me as cool when you mentioned how lucky the young people are to have these available.

I am puffing on an npro right now - as I am at work an I do not want people to know I vape here, and it is easy to hide. When I am not at work I vape with egos - a much larger battery that last 4-6 times as long before needing recharging.

The cartomizers hold a little over a ml. of e-liquid. They really hold up well. The problem with the npro cartomizers is that they glue on the tops - so I have never gotten one off without breaking (even after a hot water soak). That, and the fact that they come with short condoms with a stem in the middle makes refilling extremely hard. The generic name for a npro is a rn4081. It is hard to find generic cartomizers for them (and you will need genertics as I aid the generic tops come off easily - I buy them at the following link where they cost $5.80 for 5 of the empty ones The Better Way To Smoke - RN4081 Cartomizers these cartomizers are decent - but nothing special - but look around. Also you can buy cheap adapters their so you can use npro's carts on 501 batteries (used by the more popular 501 and ego batters), or 501 carts on an npro. You will probably want a longer lasting battery soon as I did, but because I still vape with my npro at work, I usually use a rn4081 carts with my ego batteries -

I have had my npros for 40 days now - and they have held up well - but the batters are just to small for the amount of vaping I do.

Ouch. Not being able to swap parts would have killed the deal for me. Since I had researched ECF first, I already kind of knew what to expect so the parts guarantee was my first priority. I was able to make all the newbie mistakes without having to pay again for them (burning out attys while dry burning, flooding and ruining auto batteries, etc).

Where they got me was that I spent so much time looking at the equipment, that I initially didn't check on decent juice prices. For months, I thought I was getting a pretty good deal paying $14.95 for 10ml of juice.

Thank you. :) My dad is pushing 60, and he still smokes. I got him an e-cig and everything, and he still smokes.

But it's only been a few years for me. It's been 45 years for him.

He's miraculously healthy considering he's had a pack-a-day habit for all this time... but I remember his morning cough. He may be slow to show it, but the damage is being done. It scared me all my life. Go figure I became a smoker.

When I was a little girl, the final years of seeing cigarettes in advertising were playing out. My dad grew up in that - and much more intensely than I did.

I wonder if these had been around when he was 21, he'd still be smoking. I suspect not.

I had gotten to the point where I had resigned myself to being a smoker, because all my quitting attempts were such miserable failures. At 21 I already felt totally trapped, with no hope of getting out.

I got lucky.

ye but it's simple to refill so it doesn't matter and 20 bucks for 5 atomizers and cartridges isn't that bad when you think about it.

i just want to know what the deal is with sucking in the e-juice on the high nicotine carto's
I got one atomizer from npro for twenty bucks, not five. If you are getting 5 for twenty bucks, then you are getting a good deal. I called the number that came with the device to get my replacement parts. You may have a better source.
