NNNNOOOOO !!! The inevitable has happenned !

I was just popping to the loo and the inevitable happenned.

My e-cig detatched itself from the cart and fell head first into the toilet bowl with the mouth piece still in my mouth !!!

Serves me right for not changing the cart for a while as it was getting looser and looser from atomiser end..hehe

Fished it out ( luckily I had not used the toilet before ) and dried it off.

Few blows into the atomiser and it's as good as new again with a few drops of liquid.

Medical concern now about germs in the toilet being vaped !!! Any ideas ?

Hehehehehe...ok, now that I'm past the laughing fit. Rinse it through with some rubbing alcohol then some really hot water. Should be good to go. Doesn't need to soak or anything. Just pour some alchool over and into the atomizer then rinse it off in hot water. I'd also suggest leaving the battery upside down on a cloth for several hours so that any water that got inside it drains out.

My e-cig dropped off the mouthpiece too.I was opening the front door and was holding the e-cig with my teeth.It fell onto the pavement.Apart from the paint being chipped, it still works fine.

I am so glad it isn't me this time. Somewhere on this forum I read the PG vapor has some antibiotic properties, maybe that will keep the germies from attacking.

You have already put the atomiser to your lips to blow it out, so the damage is done in terms of germs. It is in the past now.

My way of looking at the world says exposure to germs really equals a more experienced, better prepared immune system.

I read a report somewhere that said there are more varieties of germs in greater abundance on our cell phones and wallets than in our toilet bowls. Such is the nature of the Western germophobia. We obsess about the obvious germy places and pay no attention to the things we actually touch and put near our faces oh so often.

If it really bothers you that much, I'll take that atomiser off your hands for a dollar.

My girlfriend told me she saw on the news a while back that studies show fecal matter has been found on toothbrushes and all over everything in bathrooms - apparently flushing without covering the toilet bowl releases all sorts of particles into the air. I imagine there's always something in the

No its true you will find fecal coliform bacteria everywhere but not in enough numbers to present a problem to your immune system normally.
