Okay, I'm making the switch! (Question about available carts at the end of this post.)
Recap of our PV life. I started with a 510 and it's done the job. 9 weeks analog free! But so fussy, and I knew my husband Tom wouldn't deal with it. So after more research I found the V4L forum and decided that the VK was what we needed to get him to join me in the PV lifestyle. And it worked! He is now on week 3, analog free!
Watching him walk around the house with his VK, exhaling clouds of vapor, no little "kit" (juice, tweezers, q-tips, extra carts, spare parts, etc.) in his pocket, I started to get jealous at the ease of use.
Last weekend he lost a battery, so I ordered him another one, manual this time, and the manual passthrough. He is thrilled with the boost in vapor production, and I find myself sneaking into the office to hit on his passthrough!
(Ssshhh don't tell him!)
BTW I neglected to thank Steve, once again, for the extra goodies with that order - THANKS STEVE!
On Friday, I got a raise at work. Not a big one, but I have to be grateful that I work for a company that hasn't frozen wages. So in celebration I am going to take the plunge and become a full-time VK'er. My shopping cart is already loaded with the Ultimate manual kit and extra carts - but I really wanted 555 carts and I don't see any.... is V4L out of them, or are they not an option? Same with Cuban Cigar
Oh, and one more question: Tom says he doesn't think the manual battery lasts as long as the autos. Is anyone else finding that to be true? How long is a fully charged manual lasting those of you that have them?
Anyway, Wednesday is pay-day and I can't wait to hit the "ship it baby!" button!!
Now I just have to figure out who is getting my 510.
