Just converted a smoker!

I'm in college and one of my buddies been askin me about vapin so I hooked him up with a v4l battery and passthrough plus a couple of carts to get him started. I also gave him a business card from v4l and told him to get his carts from there. Hopefully he could stick with it. I told him its worth it.

That's awesome mnegrete1!!! I was approached for the first time this morning at the train station, by someone that looked serious about quitting smoking, and asked me about my e cig! I gave him a quick show and tell and passed him several biz cards, but I just couldn't part with my bats!

Good job mnegrete. I was turned on to ecigs 3 1/2 months ago when my fishing buddy casually mentioned that he might give them a try. Now I've been analog free all this time and he has yet to give them a try. I've tried to encourage him without pushing too hard but I just don't think he is ready as he keeps making excuses so I don't even mention it anymore. Too bad really, he saved my life but hasn't (yet) saved his own.

mnegrete....positive thoughts that your friend sticks with it.....it really does have to be a personal choice...I have been trying with my mom too, and think I may have finally found a juice that she will give it a go...even if she takes it slow and slowly cuts back on the ciggies I'll be happy.....she was supposed to do this with me...she chickened out!!!

I think he'll do it. I've let him try my ecigs before and he said it wasnt bad, but he's been interested for the last couple of months so i figured a lil push would help.

"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear..." No idea who, one of those spiro, new-agey things I picked up along the way. But it's so true, when the person is ready, they will find it, just as I did. I googled "alternatives to smoking" and couldn't believe something like e-cigs existed.
