HI all. Just posting to thank everyone I have come across on this board that has helped me to break free of the cigarettes. I started vaping Aug 16 2013. That was the same day I smoked my last cigarette. It happened to be the day my first vape mail came. I bought a starter kit that had 2 vision spinners, 2 EVODS, and a charger. I also got a couple of liquids ( I believe it was strawberry and some kind of cinnamon danish). Haven't looked back.

Since that time this board has helped me find my perfect vape setup and got me into making liquids on my own.

I started initially because I was coming up on a hip replacement (I'm only 45 and didn't expect this). I thought that quitting smoking would help in my recovery. It has helped in more ways than that and I can't stress enough how someone thinking of doing this should take the plunge.

If you're one of the people I see on here that is discouraged by bad equipment or you don't like the liquid or it doesn't satisfy your need then PLEASE slow down and read these boards. You can do it!!!! I want you to do it!!!! and you WILL do it.

Thanks all,

SUBDIVISIONS

P.S. while writing this post I just emptied my kayfun and got a burnt hit :ohmy:

Congrats man. I'm 4 months away from mine too! Didn't even know I was gonna quit smoking. Vaping was everything smoking wasn't. DELICIOUS IN TASTE AND SMELL :):):):)

Nice!! I see you came onto the board much later than when you started vaping. I did the same thing. I was a lurker for a long time just picking up info. Once I started vaping I figured I had to get involved. Also, I was layed up after hip surgery so I had nothing better to do. :laugh:

Yeah I did. Read and read and read until I could safely use my eventual mech and RDA and 18650 batteries and charger (already knew how to use a multimeter). Learned all I needed and thought I should try to take the load off some other people trying to give guidance to people looking to quit smoking. I may not have the patience though! But just maybe ill overcome that shortcoming as well :) everyone deserves to feel the satisfaction I have discovered!

CONGRATULATIONS Subdivisions!!! :2cool::toast::vapor::toast::2cool:
Wishing you the very best success and further enjoyment in vaping, and life :thumbs:

That scortched cotton taste does have some aweful hang time, doesn't it? :p :D

It's gone away. Luckily I'm using a tobacco type flavor that it kind of enhances at the moment. I am sipping Jack Daniel's from a glass at the moment also
