So I've recently been using a Stillare rda (maybe a clone, not sure. Isn't really relevant to the situation) but all of a sudden, there is no connection between the Sub Box Mini pin and the pin in the rda. I checked with an ohm reader and the coil is fine at .7 ohms and it's just a fraction away from making a connection. I check by putting a tiny piece of 28g wire in between the two and it read the rda just fine. Is there any way to fix it?

You say 'clone' isn't relevant, but it either wasn't made well or your mod's pin is too deep. You can try pulling the pin from the atty down a little...
It's built well. I really think it's that the sub box has too deep of a pin. And I've attempted that, I'm not exactly sure how to go about that. I tried to grab it with tweezers, but I couldn't grab it.

Just because it looks like it is made well doesn't mean the tolerances are correct. Try to grab the pin with needle nose pliers. If that doesn't work you can drop a bead of solder on the atty's pin to extend it...

I think its the mod. The subbox doesn't have a spring loaded pin, correct? Unfortunately there will be attys it won't connect with because of that. Your best bet with that mod is to use attys with adjustable 510 pins or very long 510s (Magma).
Yeah, I mean that's what it seems like considering the RDA has worked on very thing else. I think I'll have to invest in a new RDA with adjustable pins unfortunately.

I tried that as well, and I still haven't had any luck. To your knowledge, is it dangerous to place a conductor, such as the kanthal wire I was using? It seems like a bad idea, but truthfully I'm not educated enough to be positive about that. It would work, but I wonder about the damage factor on the piece and the mod as a whole. Could a small piece of wire handle that?

Yes, its the big negative on that mod.

You could add a circuit board spacer (Madvapes has them).

It wouldn't connect with an authentic Erlkonigin either, which is a rather expensive atty.

I wouldn't make a connection like that. A bead of solder would be a fine bridge. I'd just put it on the kbox pin to extend it...
