No Flavor through Aspire Nautilus

hey guys. i got a new aspire nautilus yesterday morning. i was blown away by the quality and one of the things that specifically shocked me was how much amazing flavor came through this tank. a few hours ago i filled up with some green apple which is one of my favorite flavors and usually tastes amazing on any tank, but every time i take a hit i get a very bland taste in my mouth and its almost flavorless. this is not an enjoyable way to vape. any ideas whats wrong?

Hey Ryan. New to vaping but I just had a similar experience with a new Nautilus and in fact, a green apple juice. Bland as bland could be. It's a new flavor for me so I thought perhaps it needs to steep for a week or so. Then I tried a favorite I'm vaping right now which is a Chai Tea based flavor and again, bland as hell. The Chai tastes fantastic in my iClear 30s so I was excited to try it in the Nautilus. This is curious to me as the other flavors I've tried in the Nautilus were superb .. just not those 2. I've tried different mods and settings to no avail. Wondering if you ever figured this out. Could it be as simple as some flavors just aren't good in this tank?

With my Nautilus I found the flavour went away as the coil head got close to the end of it's life
How long have you bin using the same coil? try a new one and see if it improves

It's brand new. I only used the Chai briefly and cleaned it out (not the atty). It now has a watermelon juice and am getting nice flavor. Thanks though .. I will keep it in mind going forward.

Weird, I have the nautilus and get this sometimes as well.

I think the problem is over-saturation, which is a psychological thing. When you first try the flavor, it's incredible, strong, in your face...but as your brain and tongue get used to it, even after a few drags, and the flavor will drop off for you, and may even vanish all together.

It could be that the Nautilus performs so well that it overloads your taste receptors.

I hope you guys are cleaning/soaking the coil between flavors, and letting them dry completely(24hrs). In my time with the Nautilus, I find proper maintenance will help both: your experience, and life of the coil itself.

I've never tried the aspire but the two that have given me the BEST tasting vape and closest to dripping taste are the Kay fun and the Tai fun gt. The Tai fun gt having a bit better flavor then the kayfun. Both those choices will give you a top notch flavor vape. The best IMHO being the taifun. You will pay a bit more but it is well made, fairly easy to build , no leaks or issues, and I'm serious the flavor is outrageous! The best I've ever had and I've tried a lot of rebuildables.the taifun is just out of this world! Build her right and I absolutely promise you that you will not be disappointed! This rba really brings out a amazing flavor. Just take a look online at the reviews if your skeptical. You can see a few build videos of the taifun on you tube. The kayfun is a very good vape too but flavor wise, not quite as intense as the taifun. Both are well made. Kayfun is more temperamental then the taifun also. If I could only have two tanks those are the two I'd pick. But if your looking and searching for top notch flavor, grab yourself a taifun it's very much worth the investment. And you will NOT regret it! Amazing flavor, I'm serious! It's so close to dripping flavor which is amazing !! You will love it. It also produces a good thick dense vapor. It's a great rba. A bit pricey but very much worth it. Hope this helps.best wishes

Happens all the time when I accidentally spin the airflow control ring and cover the airholes. Check to make sure you didn't frob the ring to a closed position when you changed your liquid, and try again

In my opinion it's a hit or miss device. Mostly miss. They need to redesign their heads. Too bad you can't stick a Kanger coil in it. The juice absorbtion chamber is a fundamentally flawed design in my opinion...

So glad I bought the aerotank instead of the "Brand new Nautilus" the b&m guy was pushing. Thankfully, I had already done some research here at ECF so I knew exactly what I was looking for.

MVP @ 11 watts, 5 days of chain vaping on the same head so far, and every puff has been as good as the first. No leaks, gurgling, or dry hits.

A long way from the 510t and ego-t's I tried years ago.

Aero tank is solid. My only qualm with it is they should have made the threading on the airflow ring lefty loosie instead of righty tightie...

I also bought a new aspire nautilus. There is an issue with a batch of coils. They readily admit it. It sucks but supposedly they are fixing the issue.
