I'm using my new 510, but none of my juices are giving any flavor. They all smell like they're supposed to, but it's like I'm just inhaling warm, dense air. I tried cleaning and repriming my atty, cleaning out my cart, and dripping - nothing. Is something wrong? Is the flavor supposed to be really really faint? Or do I need to give it a little while until my sense of taste returns after being killed by cigars?

Not all flavors in all liquids is that strong. It varies by liquid type and manufacturer.
But... you may have already hit it square on the head. You sense of taste may be dulled by years of smoking analogs. I have noticed that liquids that I found to be bland a month ago are now springing to life.

You will need to "break in" your atty.
I use 801 atomizers. Usually takes about 3-4 hours of vaping before it hits max. performance.

I just tried a fresh cart with coffee liquid and I can definitely taste a hint of coffee. I assume within a few weeks my sense of taste and smell will return. I don't smoke cigarettes but I have a cigar every once in a while and I can definitely tell my senses have dulled afterward.
I guess I'll just keep at it. No problems with vapor though - this thing is making huge clouds of it. Must be Nhaler's High Voltage juice.

Two days in, still very very low flavor. Are my expectations too high? The only flavors I can even taste at all are nutty flavors and really really intense fruit flavors like cherry. I filled my empty carts until the filler looked like slush and dripped a drop or 2 onto the atomizer. I'm getting tons of vapor, but no flavor. What am I doing wrong?
Could be the taste buds but usually you find something that fits each step along the way. Where did you get your juice?
Nhaler and The Bear Juice. I know Drew has great juice because I'd read all the raving reviews, but the only one I can really taste is the Pralines & Cream. Even the French Vanilla Coffee is giving very very light flavor. And they're both High Voltage juices made to use with hotter burning attys like the 510. My girlfriend tried the Peaches & Cream and said she could barely taste it, and she's never smoked a single analog in her life. Is the flavor supposed to be very subtle or is there maybe something wrong with my 510? It's producing lots of vapor so I'm not sure why I can't get any flavor.
It's your taste buds. IMHO. I don't really know what else to say. People with 510's buy his juice on a daily basis without the problem you're posing. Pralines and Cream isn't subtle. the French Vanilla Coffee isn't as strong a coffee flavor as his Cafe Mocha but it's a pretty good Vanilla flavor. I use it every day. I don't think I can help you. Perhaps someone else can.

Yeah, that's about what I expected. It's not even close to that noticeable though. I tried blowing out and draining my attys overnight. I'll post my results here after work.
I'm bumping this thread. I have the same problem as well. After about 2 weeks of vaping now (I have a 510), I still can not taste any of the flavors. I order the HV from Drew at Nhaler. When I open the bottle, the smell is divine! I vape it, and like Josh, I have NO flavor what so ever. I can smell it, but no taste. Ive gone to adding ALOT of menthol liquid (to the Nuport, which til I added the liquid menthol had NO taste to me) so that I can taste something. I love the strong menthol, but would also LOVE to taste some of the others I have as well.
I know its not the addy, or juice. I have had others try it and they say it tastes as good as it smells and cant understand why I cant taste it..I dont understand it either I know they can really taste it and not just saying they can, because I have to just about knock them out to get my 510 back. I know my taste buds have probably vacated my mouth years ago, but does anyone know how long it takes for them to wake back up again?
Ive tried the PTB and cant seem to get the grasp of it for some reason. So that means Im still with the filling that originally came with the carts I ordered. Cleaned, yes, dried fully, yes..flavor? No No burnt taste, I dont let the cart dry out, addy looks good...Im at a loss.
Two weeks and still nothing but the smell of what I KNOW should be tasting just as good! I don't want to be stuck with just the menthol forever. I want to be awe'd and WOW'd!!

I completely commiserate with you two Babsb and Josh! Close to 2 weeks of vaping, and I too can barely taste any flavor from my carts (all have DeKang juice though). The only flavor that is even remotely strong to me is menthol. It's NOT my taste buds - I've always been able to distinguish flavorings in foods that none of my non-smoking family or friends could. Even while I was still smoking. I've been trying to find any posts that state a juice company's flavors were way too strong or something - just so I could try those flavors. But, I have yet been able to convince anyone it isn't my taste buds. It's disappointing and almost makes me want to stop because I definitely CAN taste analogs - icky but at least it's something.
edit: One other thing I can definitely taste in the cartomizers/liquids I have - a weird chemically taste. Just thought I would share.
