Got a pack of 5 CE3's from Volt. Seemed to work fine. Then I discovered one was leaking. Then another. And yet one more. Have one that luckily is not and one I haven't opened yet. I followed the instructions to the letter. But when I took it off the battery I had a nice drop of liquid on the battery. Any idea what could be causing this???

On the flipside I have 3 V2 Liquimax clearomizers that I have filled and cleaned many times and they are still going strong after two weeks.

I’ve been using clearomizers since last spring, and almost every one I’ve had has dribbled a little juice on the battery. As long as it’s just a drop, it should not be a problem if you’re using manual batteries or sealed automatics.

So is there no way to prevent this??? Is there a cause???

Well, I’ve heard several people say that their clearos don’t leak. That always amazes me, because I think the only one I’ve had that didn’t leak a little also didn’t give me anything but burnt tasting hits. If the wicks in a clearo are too loose, too much juice will flow to the coil and cause leakage. With some clearos, you can add a little extra wick material to help with the leakage, but that can also cause dry burnt hits.

I used to freak out about getting a little juice on the battery. I even switched to different kinds of clearos a couple times because of it. Eventually I realized it just isn’t that big of a deal.

I wouldn’t claim to be a expert on clearos. Maybe somebody with a different experience will chime in here.

I've used clearo's from the begining of my vaping and ALL of mine have leaked, and not just drops.. Like soak a q-tip leak, not sure why or how, (i don't lay them on their sides either.) I've taken them apart and tried to "fix" the seal by cleaning... nada. Still leak leak leak.. I've had success with the rebuildable clearo's but nothing else so I feel you. Thinking about switching to a carto/tank for this reason alone.

Some people swear by their CE3's. I usually get two fills out of them before they get the burnt taste or start leaking. Mr Outlaw has you tube videos on these. I followed his directions, but had no real luck with them. I'm not a fan, but there are fans out there.

Hi Tail. I used CE3s last summer and fall until the Kanger T3s came out. I really liked the vapor production and TH, but I didn’t like filling them with a syringe. I used the T3s for about 3 months and now I’m using Evods. With all of them, whenever I change the battery or fill the clearo, there’s always a bit of juice on the battery. I guess I consider it normal and just wipe it off and forget it.

I heard the manufacturer made a design change to the CE3 a few months ago that didn’t work real out real well. I don’t know if affects leaking or burnt hits.
