I had these same exact problems when I first started this past October. I really feel you guys are pulling too hard when you draw. It was happening to me and I started focusing on how I was vaping and it made all the difference in the world. If you pull on a tank the same way you pulled on your analog you flood your coil and then you get a All the bubbling and leaking. Think about it...... it makes sense, slow steady pulls will produce a better experience. We smoked on cigarettes for so long a certain way and your mind tends to wanna use the ecig the same way. It's not the same tho and just learning how to use it can completely change your experience. I hope this helps you guys. Someone giving me the same information made all the difference for me.

Have you tried airflow control? The Aerotank airflow control base will fit your Protank II there are other airflow control devices available as well. Leaking, flooding, gurgling can be the result of to tight and air draw which create excess vacuum in your tank. This excess vacuum draws too much ejuice to the wick causing the leaking. Just one idea.

i know i liked the more open draw of the first pro tanks and the pt2 was more restricted and u can suck too hard causing flooding.
but im done with them..lol progression dictate me to climb deeper into the vapists pit becoming more involved with my experience.
pullin up my big boy pants...time to build a ss cable wick on a RSST

Oh no you don't!! Get an AeroTank base for that PTII, it's made mine fiddle free. No leaks, no gurgles and the flavor and vapor is great!!

Ive been dealing with this issue myself actually. Im still a noob as well so i feel your pain.

I am using a protank 2 on my Itaste VV V3.0 and when i first got it it wouldnt stop leaking/gurgling. I kept taking it apart and cleaning it just like you seem to be doing. i havent done that in a week or so but i still run into the leaking quite often.

All i do not is unscrew the base (with the coil) and blow through the holes to remove the liquid inside. Use a tissue so you dont get it directly on your lips. Once you blow and nothing comes spraying out, its good. Then i run a q-tip through the chimney to get that dry. After that i pop it back in and it works just fine. But like tonight i had it leak/flood/gurgle 3 times in a row after cleaning. I still havent been able to pinpoint exactly what is causing it but a few things i do now is. Keep my tank at least half full, and just make sure your not over-tightening things. Especially the 510 where your tank meets your battery. I noticed tightening that all the way leaves no airflow which can lead to you sucking the liquid right up the chimney and into your mouth.

Again my advice isnt anything special but i figured id share my similar experience with you seeing as im having the same issue.

P.S I just ordered the Nautilus by Aspire. Im hoping this will work much better then this protank.

Get the Aerotank base for your PT II. Simply amazing and not very costly. Makes the PT II perform like a tank should!!

I found just flipping over the little rubber gromet that is ontop of the wicks stopped all my recent PT2 problems. It was covering up too much of the wick and no juice could saturate the wick or coil. All I was getting was a burnt hit. I get way better flavor and no leak or gurgle problems after just flipping that cup over and putting it back on the post. I have only had to do this on my latest pack of Kanger replacement wicks I got from a local B&M store though. My original wicks I got with the PT2 worked fine out of the box.

I was in the same boat, it grew tiresome. You can use some 2mm silica wick and install some flavor wicks, that will help catch some of the atomizer flooding. Your spinner is probably under-powered for these clearo's. Eventually I just gave up and moved onto kayfun clones. I did notice the protank aero is a little better at preventing flooding. A lot of people are raving about the nautilus tank. These are your options, I hope you get through it, because it totally sucks..I know where you're coming from.

Forgot to mention, you don't have to buy the whole aero tank, you could just get the aero piece for your existing tanks, at 6 dollars it's worth it. Also, maybe look at rebuilding the coils yourself with the cotton gauze method that the vulgar vape dude raves about.

My neighbor recommended the Kanger Aero tank air flow control base. It stopped the gurgling, and the juice stayed in the tank. I just opened the air adjustment all the way. You can adjust it to the amount of air flow you like. Kanger ProTank Air Control Base
You can get the Aero base at litecigusa, Kanger ProTank Air Control Base
They are $5.95 and USPS shipping choose $2.25. I bought 2 of them today.

I have had gurgling on almost every tank I've owned at one time or another. For the most part I've definitely found that I was pulling too hard, taking a softer draw solved the issue with many tanks. On the other hand, many other tanks needed the typical fixes such as cleaning the inner tube with a qtip, adding or removing flavor wicks, and in a few tanks I've found that flipping the rubber cap on the chimney helped. Worst case scenario, I've made a better seal by adding another rubber cap on top of the one already on the chimney. Problem solved and I've yet to toss a tank because of leaks or gurgles. :D

Thanks the site that use are sold out of that:) ,but i wish i would've seen this sooner because i just bought a base for the mini protank 2 and it works alot better. i seen the new aero tank and im pretty sure that should be alot better than the protanks 1-3. What i noticed is theres something about the base on the protank 2 that doesn't seem right hmmm

Someone told me to do that before but i kinda threw my head away because i just gave up on it lol but if that does work, how does adding a rubber cap prevent gurgling etc?

I have about 4 protanks. I broke the base on my very first protank (dropped the ecig and the base broke off at the threads). This was a while ago, and the aerotank bases weren't available yet. I shopped around and found cheap replacement bases (myvaporstore, I think) and ordered 5 of them. Turns out that one of these 5 replacement bases I ordered causes leaking every time I use it. This is above and beyond the sometimes gurgling that I'd get with other protanks. Some gurgling can be fixed with tweaks, but whatever this base is doing can't seem to be fixed. I can't figure out exactly what's up with it, and why it causes leaking, but something about it isn't right. The other 4 bases work fine.

I'm considering ordering a few aerotank bases because people are really seeming to like them. Gurgling sometimes happens, and can usually be addressed, but from what I'm hearing about the aerotank base, it really seems to solve a lot of these issues.

I think i tried just about everything with this tank. I just ordered the new iclear 30b and hopefully i will have a good time with this:)

You won't not get gurgling but hopefully you can make it stop when it does happen easier... I have actually found the original 30 more user friendly than the 30b.

Another tip with iclears (probably already mentioned by someone) but fill up your iclear before you go to bed then it has all night to bed in and dry out. I find its a really clean tight draw all morning.

Good luck! :)
