I've tried everything and cannot get a banner from any link on my signature only if I upload a picture and write something myself is this because I'm doing it from my phone don't have a computer at the moment all it does if I try to add a banner from somewhere is redirect me to another page saying invalid file I just don't get it any answers would be appreciated

Try using a standard "browser" on your phone (like Chrome). If you're using a 3rd party application like Tapatalk, it's not really designed to do the extra "stuff" that you'd otherwise be able to accomplish with a normal browser.
Having said that, we're about a week away from converting the forums over to XenForo. With the responsive design in the new software, you should find it easier to use a browser on your phone and view ECF.
