Not quite sure if I'm sad or happy about it
I've been vaping for close to 2 years now, and used eGos for the first 15 months quite contentedly. Then I drifted over into mods and life's just not been the same since. I really enjoy each and everyone of my mods I bought, and rotate through them all. BUt at the same time I have to ask myself just how many mods do I need? I'm pretty sure I've got more than enough for a lifetime. I got into DIY, jumped in with both feet and can mix together enough different good juices to satisfy my flavor variety cravings. Rebuildable atomizers were my last big jump, and I'm getting to the point I can make decent coils for either the tank rebuildable or the bottom feeders. So I've been thinking lately, "what else do I need"? The only answer I keep giving myself is "nothing".
So with all that said, I've imposed a 6 month buying ban on myself. I did pre-order a GGTS last week, so I will be getting that probably in November. But it's paid for already. That money has left the wallet and I'm just waiting on the build and shipment. But that's my last "fun" purchase until at least the end of February. Maybe by then, I'll decide to extend the buying ban on myself permanently. Part of all the acquiring I've been doing lately is to make myself as self-sufficient as possible in case the FDA tanks this industry with regulation. I think it's time to start practicing some self-sufficiency with what I own and see how it works for me. Of course the other part of what I've been buying comes down to "that looks like fun" and that part is definitely being nixed.
I will exclude from the ban the functioning parts of what I might need: wick,wire,batteries,adapters,chargers,multi-meter,VG,PG. I am going to limit flavoring purchases to those flavors I use routinely, and not buying any new ones.
I figured if I put it in writing and posted it, I would be reminded of my goal. We shall see.
