Hey all,

I budget myself pretty strictly when it comes to vaping, but on the 10th of every month, I have a "vape budget day". I'll buy a new mod, e-juice, batteries, RDA's, whatever...And I do hit B&Ms, I don't order stuff from online.

This month, I really don't know what to get! Last month was the big jump into RDA's and mechanical mods..And I am currently using a Caravela clone, two Tobh RDA's, Sony VTC3s and VTC4s, an i2 charger and a few other gizmos. I know that I am going to be buying a new toolbox, or "vape box", now that I am rebuilding, and a few small tools.

I've been looking at copper mods and a definitely want to get one - The Stingray X really seems like the one I want. I also would really like a Dark Horse RDA. I'm not sure what I am going to find at my local stores since I don't go to them all that often. My friend has this exact combo and I LOVE it. So that is where I am at now.

If any of you have suggestions for purchases like rda's, mechanicals, batteries, chargers, and even just please shout out. I need ideas!!

Thanks!:vapor:

Since you're asking, but already have some good stuff on the radar, I'll throw out one maybe you didn't plan on.
Get a REO. Specifically, a Reo Grand LP or SL/LP.

In case you don't know them, it's a simple but WELL made box mechanical, that feeds your atomizer liquid when you squeeze a bottle. It's dripping without having to drip. You can get ANY atomizer set up to "bottom feed" - there's a vendor here (search "Chowderhead" or ask people", setting people up with bottom-feed Dark Horses, Hobos, Mephistos, etc.

Big fan base for Reos, there aren't really any clones of it, but it's worth the bux.

I have a copper stingray clone, they're really nice mods but be prepared cuz they tend to have switch issues, mostly the switch sticking. I upgraded mine with magnets from fat daddy vapes and it works great now.

I'm currently using a colonial mod with a mephisto and I love them both :) the colonial is aluminum, so it's very lightweight and has a decent voltage drop. The only issue I have with it is that the recessed switch is really deep in there - I have very short fingers so it's hard to push the switch all the way in sometimes  but mostly it works very well.

The mephisto is a really good dripper, it has huge postholes and the airflow can be adjusted for single or dual coil builds :) I would highly recommend it.

Bumpity. Well I ended up grabbing an IPV2 at a Veteran's Day discount price, and slapped one of my sony VTC5's in it. Love it so far. Here is my question now: With sub-ohming being my primary building background, what would be good to build to maximize this 50w box mod? Hmmm...I have no idea!

The sky is the limit. I did a few builds to test my IPV2 out on, my normal mech build (.4 on a tobh) and then I did .8 on a magma. Both are great at 50 watts.

Did you just get the magnets from fat daddy or the whole stingray upgrade? I am considering getting the whole upgrade kit for my ehpro clone and wanted to know if it was worth it. I have also found copper parts for the button I am considering.

I got the whole switch upgrade for like $13, with the magnets already inserted in the delrin and the pin. I also sanded down the inside of the switch as per this guy's instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tddIHOPULIE

My stingray switch hasn't stuck in a couple months now :)

EDIT: I sanded down the switch first as a free at-home fix, and it no longer stuck but it started autofiring because the magnets were too weak, so then I bought the fat daddy upgrade. Just beware of that if you sand it down before buying new magnets.
