To be honest. The thread does look like a "Sorry folks, no contest." People really only scan the first couple words, and only read further if there is interest. "NO NASCAR today" might be keeping people from opening the thread. :maybe:

Why I quit getting on faceook.
A lot of my friends at work was talking about it a lot. Kept telling me I should sign up.
I did.
Well about that time I was up for a new position and stated that I thought I had a good chance on facebook. Well one of my so called friends ran straight to the higher ups and needless to say I did not get the job. Found out later (too late) that they expanded on what I said.
Then there is my ex-daughter-in-law. I excepted her as my friend just to get to see pics of my grand-daughter. I have only saw her 4 times in 5 years. Once was a accident and I was not allowed to even talk to her.
DIL then proceeded to get on facebook and slander my name. Real friends would have know me better but some just loved the chance to gossip. Don't need that.
Then there is the playing games on facebook. Did that to. My anti-virus would kick in about once a day and even shut my computer down once.
Now I do not go to face book and none of this happens.
Facebook is fun of kids that(as I stated before) that think my daddy will whip your daddy.

Yeah, you have to be careful what you post on there. I just completely block the drama queens. I don't need their crap. Seems to work pretty well. I like it because I am able to talk my close friends that are all scattered far and wide.
