I just received my first mod and sub ohm tank yesterday. An eleaf istick 50w w/ kanger sub ohm nano. I'm loving the flavor but the tip burns my lips! I've tried changing the air hole size and fiddled with the watts. (Complete newbie with this) can I get a plastic tip or is there a way to keep this one cool? TIA

I have the subtank mini and run it at 26-28 watts normally and the tip only gets warm at most. I don't know if the chamber sizing would make a big enough difference to heat the drip tip enough to burn you or not. Just make sure your lips aren't on the rim of the drip tip. I get burnt lips on my RDAs by putting my lips on the rim all the time. If its still a problem, I would try a delrin drip tip.

I have the nano and run it at 17watts. the package says the .5 ohm coil is rated from 15-25 watts. I have tried everything in that ball park and settled on 17 for vapor production and flavor. Like stated above it you are running 25 or more watts through the nano its gonna get hot on long draws. Especially if you have the air restricted for mouth to lung hit. When I started vaping all I did was mouth to lung and the nano would get hot. I am now doing direct inhale and with the large amount of air passing by the coil it only gets a little warm. hope this helps. I just picked up the Subtank plus, Its huge and has alot of air flow. It can be run at alot higer wattage and stay cool
