Is it necessary to have no resistance wire on the coil legs for Penelope/ Genisis style atties?

Absolutely not. It helps if you're having trouble with hot spots on those legs but I've never done it and probably won't (it seems to be too much work lol)

Thanks all! Any Penelope users?

I would love to try it out but money makes it difficult lol. I currently have a DID, DID clone, phoenix, something called the A7, and then one with a coil under the reservoir.

I prefer the DID clone for right now but I can't wait to really dig into the others and experiment

The way I've seen it done, is to not use NR wire on the - side of the coil. I've never seen anyone do an Ody / Penny build with absolutely no NR wire at all. Not saying it isn't possible, just saying I've never heard of it.

I'd like to revise my first post. I've never used either of those two rba's so when I say you don't need NR legs I probably don't know for sure if you do on those two.
