Hello people!:)
As you have been very helpful the other day i've decided to try my luck once again:)
I've been vaping for a week now without smoking analogs and really don't want to go back to smoking them. But i have a bit of a problem here "tasting" those "yummy" juices people are talking about. I've ordered 6 different juices off a highly regarded vendor in UK. But the problem is I can't really taste anything there...I mean I get a TH and vapor but there is no taste. Especially black cherry and apple juices...no taste at all. Is it normal? I do get a bit of a taste from apple pie with custard....but only apple pie...actually just a pie:) and no custard lol.
So my question is: What is the best way to increase the taste? I know it could be something wrong with my tastebuds but i doubt it as i've never been a heavy smoker.
I'm using a Joye Ego with 510 atomizers. I clean them every time i put a new flavor in them and still no taste. I have a standart Ego battery. And am using a dripping method.
Can i use LR510 atomizers with standart Ego battery? Or should i try cartomizers (if that's what you call them:))? Or are there better ways to boost that flavor? Also i've ordered new flavors from different vendors. Will see if the same thing will happen i will try to go DIY way...
Sorry for too many words in my post:)
I hope you will understand what i'm asking regardless my poor English knowledge...
Thank you:vapor:

If the juices are freshly mixed, they need to sit a while for the flavor to develop. Do a search for steeping, you'll find information in this forum on it.

It can also be your taste buds. I went through a period where I couldn't taste any of my different flavor juices. Try a spicy flavor, this still happens to me occasionally, and when it does I will use cinnamon for a day or so.

Order a 5 pack of LR306 joye attys from Liberty Flights. Make sure and click on the save 20percent in the upper left corner of their home page. works out to be around 650 each or so.

These are awesome, huge vapor, way more flavor. They are constructied differently, so dont trip when you see it. Just pull the blank cart off, and drip right onto the bridge, 3 drips. its a dripping machine.

Also, your taste buds will recover with time if you are new to vaping. my taste buds are like yours. I find that I have to order double flavor. Most vendors offer it, and many more will do it if you ask in your shopping cart comments.

The flavors I love that have huge flavor are:
Back Woods Brew Cola
Backwoods Brew Caramel Cap
Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide
Kick Bass Vapor Bobs OMG juice
Kick Bass Vapor Caramel Cap

Root Beer has good strong flavor, and many vendors offer it.

I order extra flavor with all these, in the comments section. Kick Bass has a thread for ordering, and are about ready to launch their website

Yes, there is a special drip tip, but I just use the blank cart that comes on it, but you cannot use it with the ego cone. I am pretty sure you can use the cone if you have the drip tip. the reason you need one is that the 306 is made for a smaller device, and the way its constructed. You will see what I mean when you look at it.

I find when I am dripping, I dont really care if the cone is on there. If I cannot drip, I use a Ce2 cartomizer for convenience. Some flavors just taste better dripped.

But this 306lR really packs a punch.

The first week I was vaping I thought there was something wrong. I had read all of these glowing reviews on certain brands and flavors and I ordered sample size bottles. All I could taste was...dirty water? That's the best way I could describe it. It was like opening your mouth in front of a medical vaporizer and sucking in the water droplets. Any amount of smoking can damage the senses of taste and smell, so don't be surprised if your tastebuds are gradually readjusting to not being assaulted by hot, harsh, chemical laden cigarette smoke.

Here's something else to consider - don't rinse your atty every time you want to change flavors. Dedicate one atomizer for every "family" of flavors. For example, there would be no harm in using one atomizer for coffee, tobacco and vanilla based flavors one for fruit flavors and one for mentholated flavors. Rinsing strips all of the juicy stuff from the atty that helps "season" them. Every so often an atty needs a good bath (when they start popping very loudly and causing blowback every time, when they don't produce a sufficient amount of vapor, or when they begin to taste stale), but when you rinse every time you switch flavors it's like vaping with a brand new, dry atty all over again.

Also, when you do find it's necessary to clean an atty, let it dry thoroughly before using it. Even a little bit of residual moisture can create a harsh, dry, nasty tasting vapor.
