Ah. There's your problem right there. You need at least 30 watts to run a sub-ohm rda coil properly.

This is complete and utter BS, and you should probably stop throwing advice like this out to newer vapers.

I gotta agree with what Victor Viper said, its just too much coil.. The resistance isnt the problem at 0.5 ohms, its the fact that you're heating two coils in there (you did mean you're running two coils totaling 0.5 ohms correct?) I've ran a 24 gauge 0.5 ohm single coil in my Bonsai and it took almost 20 watts just to heat up that one coil.. I backed down to a single 26 gauge at 1 ohm (10 wraps at 2mm) and it wont really do anything lower than 15w. With dual coils, half the wattage goes to each coil so even at 20w, you're only sending 10w to each coil which wont do much at all unless you wanna hold down the fire button for a few seconds before you vape it, which will put some strain on the battery.

As far as amperage, you should be just fine with that battery, assuming Efest isnt overrating the discharge rate like they tend to do. Even if you double the wattage and go up to 40, at 0.5 ohms 40 watts hits 4.5v and only draws around 9 amps. You've got more than half the batteries rating for headroom. I don't really recommend Efest batteries because they like to exaggerate their amp specs, like they do on their so-called 30 and 35 amp batteries, considering there are no 35 amp constant discharge batteries in existence, and the only real 30 amp batteries are the Sony VTC 3/4 and the mah spec of the efests doesn't match up with that even if it was a rewrapped Sony.. Theres not really anyway to tell if it is in fact a 20 amp battery, as the LG and Samsung 20a batteries don't have that big 3100 mah capacity, and you can bet on the fact that if they could get them to last that long, a multi-billion dollar company that specializes in li-ion batteries like them would've already had one by now, as opposed to Efest who buys batteries that didnt make the cut to be labeled Samsung/LG/Sony/etc and doesn't make batteries at all. Both the LG HE2 and HE4 and the Samsung 25R top out at 2500 mah. Id easily recommend picking up a couple of the Samsungs. They're anywhere from $5-8 and are awesome performers, and you can sleep soundly knowing you bought a decent and honestly rated battery.

If you really wanna run at 0.5 ohms, you're going to either have to stick to single coil build, or get a box that provides about 50w of power. Id suggest a newer box if you can afford it. Running a 20w mod at 20w all the time is really taxing on the electronics and it probably wont live as long as say a 40-50w mod running at half its max power. I run 2 Sigelei Mini 30 watters, so Im not playing the dual coil game at all since Id like them to run comfortably for as long as I can get them to run. ;)

Make sure youve got your post screws nice and tight and make sure the coil is positioned near the airflow..

with 26g wire you should be getting suitable vapor fairly quickly as long as the rda is set up correctly.

I would suggest searching you tube for tips on how to build on the plume veil.. That way you can see what they do right in front of you.

I would give more specific advice but i dont own a plume veil and im only slightly familliar with its design.

More power (grunt grunt) is nice but it shouldnt be completely necessary.. I have a .5 ohm 26g dual coil set up in an ohmega right now and that sucker can kick .... starting at 16 or 17 watts.

Nothing personal, but the last paragraph of all this is pretty much what I said. Which part was "complete BS"?
