no vapor from cartomizer using same juice

You may have over filled the cartomizer... take it off the battery and hold it up to the light. You should be able to see light all the way through. If you don't, hold a piece of tissue to the battery end and blow into the mouth piece slightly. Some juice will most likely come out into the tissue. Then hold it back up to the light and see if you can see through it.

How many drops did you put in?

I think I flooded it. I left the cap off and let it dry some and it seems to be a little better. Or maybe I'm thinking they weren't totally dry from being cleaned out.

So once they are filled you should be able to see through them? I have no idea how many drops. It was a little more than a half full condom.

How many drops should I use?

I am still very new to this too.... Out of all the ones I have refilled so far... I over filled 3 and it was with a thinner type juice. (lol.... It was also very late at night when I did those... so who really knows how many I put in) Now I know with that juice, even though it absorbs quicker... not to use as many. As for the others, the juice was a bit thicker and I didn't use as many drops. I am still guessing at the amount of drops for each. Usually I use between 15 and 18 drops... It also depends on how dry the filler is.

Also, I always let mine sit (usually overnight). Yes you should always be able to hold it up to a light and be able to see light all the way down the middle.

What kind of kr808 is it? Where did you purchase them? They are all similar, but not the same. The new, high-resistance ones are a bit larger and take up to 30 drops of e-liquid (Turbos, CoolCarts, Megas). The older models Take 20+ drops. I like to fill from the mouth end and I drip until all liquid is absorbed nicely. Then blow out any juice that may be in center tube.

But remember one thing--they are disposable. Often they will not cooperate after a wash, no matter how well you dry them. You may want to read this thread, below.

Severely Reduced Performance after boiling out cartos?

Yeah, I guess I did forget to mention that part... I pop the cap off the mouth piece and drip into the carto. The ones that I did over fill were the older type of carto (hard caps with the additional rubber ring inside)... So far I have not had a problem with CoolCarts or Premiums (soft caps).

Okay thanks, I'll try to be more patient and let them sit overnite. The ones you overfilled, was there just no action from them? Like sucking on a soggy filter?

I didn't even try them .... I could tell that they were over filled from the excess juice... I suspect I would have gotten a mouth full of juice or flooded the battery if I tried. I blew the excess out & let them sit overnight again and they worked fine after that.

I am not sure of the life span of a carto... they are meant to be disposable after one use but as you see many, many people reuse them. How many times they reuse them depends on the individual.

So far (since I am new to vaping), my plan is to use them a few times and then get rid of them. When I go to refill them I check to see if anything looks burnt. If it is... I toss it. What I do is buy the prefilled cartos... refill them with the same juice a few times and then buy new prefilled cartos. I have ordered blanks to have extras around for my favorite juices and new juices that I may want to try. (If I can order a smaller sample bottle)

This is the way I have been doing it, it may not be what others do or what you want to do... or who knows if there is a "right way to do it". I really don't have the time in my life right now to be cleaning/boiling etc. etc. etc.

I saw a video of a guy cleaning a carto... his method looked pretty simple... I will have to try to find it again.

As for popping the cap off the mouth piece & filling that way... it gives you the chance to see what is going on inside the carto (somewhat).. and it's easy.
