My only advice is if it seems too weak for you then consider 510 or KR808D-1 or their fat-battery versions, with manual batteries

I don't know what model SS No 7 really is - with that male-thread style atomizer it could be RN4081, L88B/Trio, or others. Here is some info
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-7-compatible-batteries-switch-dif-model.html

And refill your carts. And when the stuffing gets old and cranky, try cutting blue foam almost as long and a tiny bit wider than the inside of your cart' s juice cup - taper the inner end a little bit. The cheap precut pieces at strictlyejuice.com for 510 may be big enough to cut down for your carts. Or you can buy the bulk for 10x the price as Marineland RiteSize U Foam Sleeve at Petsmart in the aquiirum dept.

There are lots of great eliquid sellers - check Backwoods Brew, FreedomSmokeUSA, Vaperite, VaporBomb, MadVapes, and there are so many others.

I started on a super-mini. It kept me happy for about 4 weeks, then I bought both the Joye 510 manual and the KR808D-1 manual (Vapor4Life.com model) which are the most supported models with parts sold by a bunch of vendors and excellent support for adapters, blank cartomizers, and upgrade paths. But I still vape my super-mini M401 (technically a mini with the longer batteries but carts the size of a supermini) - annoying carts but good flavor.

Heya, Jim. I started out with the No. 7 myself back in August. It did the trick, and got me off cigarettes long enough to find this forum and research my next step.

If you're satisfied with the performance of your e-cig then, other than trying new flavors and making sure you keep plenty of supplies on hand, welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. Read through the library, ask questions, and decide where you want to go from there.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks guys! What supplies do I need on hand? I'm almost out of starter pack cartridges. Can I refill them? E-Cigarettes sells the fluid for $30. I'm new to this and I think I really like it better than even $10 Marlboro Lights 100's. Please steer me in the right direction. I will need new cartridges or fluid real soon. Help! -Jim

If you like their liquid then buy their liquid. $30 seems high unless it's for 50ml or more. But buy it since you like it and you will have liquid while you search for other brands and flavors you like.

if yours is a 3-piece - buy some precut 510 blue foam stuffing at stricylyejuice.com - you shoudl be able to cut it down if you need to refill a cart. I cut about 3/4 as deep as the juice cup and tapered on the inner end, and a tiny bit wide than the inside of the juice cup. Too wide and it will compress too much and and inhibit juice flow. too little and it will slip down in the cup too easily.

For 3 piece super-mni type ecigs with carts that fit over the atomizer - you should be able to push up the juice cup by sticking a small unbent paper clip in the mouth hole. If they do not work that way then I don't know.

For 2-piece ecig - hopefully the cartos are soft caps. With soft-caps you can stick an unbent paper clip just far enough into the mouth hole to pop out the soft cap. In there you should see stuffing or see and inner silicone donut shape seal over stuffing. If the cap is hard or glued (a fave of "name" brand vendors who just want to sell you more) then you may have to try pushing juice in using a carto condom. if this is the case, you need to be super careful to not drip juice on your batteries. Always remove the carto to add juice and never put it back on if it is dripping or have juice on the threaded end.

I do not own an SS 7 - I am guessing from the photos.

The picture doesn't help. Is it 3-piece or (battery + screw-on atomizer + cart) or 2 piece (battery + screw-on cartomizer?)

They could be showing a 3-piece with the atomizer already stuck in the cart (so it looks like a 2-piece) or showing a 2-piece which is a battery and cartomizer. If you push the cart onto the atomizer then it is a 3-piece with carts. If you screw the cart onto the battery then that is a 2-piece and the cart is a cartomizer aka carto.

As far as I know either should be refillable with juice (from wherever you want)

I explained how the carts are probably filled - I do not own the unit.

If cartos - they banned some guy from their Facebook because he posted and told people he refilled the cartomizers. SS 7 told him that wasn't supported and he would lose the warranty on the carto (which is just stupid because they just want people to use them once and throw them away) and when he retorted to that they banned him.

Do you know what the thread is on this PV.? He is also going to need more cartomizers and we can't give him much advice without knowing what he is using.

No 7's are a good way to get started with the transition to Vaping. I ordered a kit very similar to the one you did. I'm still using the parts from my first order. My kit came with two batteries and two atomizers. I still have one atomizer left, and another on the way.

I decided not to invest too much in these parts, however. No manufacturer's parts last forever, and it's best to go with a standard that doesn't lock you into one manufacturer. The most popular standard is 510 atomizers, this way you have many more websites and brands to choose from. If you're unsatisfied with the price or quality of one brand of battery or atomizer you can always find another product, and still use your existing parts that you've already invested in.

The Chinese claim most ecig batteries can take about 300 recharges but a reputable vendor says it is more like 150 recharges. Atomizers are usually what does first. You should always have spare atomizers. At least two so you can clean and dry one while using another, preferably 3 so you also have a total spare.

Where did you find the Rose liquid? I want to try Cherry Blossom from Madvapes - I know that is a Flavor Apprentice flavoring - it caught my eye. Right now I'm vaping Vanilla Bean from Backwoods Brew and WOWbacco juice from Vapor4Life (WOWbacco is a very cocoa or dark chocolate tobacco - I don't even notice tobacco flavor/aroma, and they also have WOWBoy which is the same with a bit of mint added). ANother fave of mine is FreedomSMokeUSA oRYental 4 which is a sweet caramelly vanilla tobacco (their normal RY4 is not sweet). And FSUSA's Cocoa is very non-sweet - a bit too bittersweet for me to vape it alone much but great for cutting down the sweetness in another juice.
