hello, i have been browsing thru this site getting ideas for a long time now and have just made my mind to just join. I have been an analog user for 25 yrs. i vape most of the time but still have smokes about 4-6 analogs a day. still taking my time to kick the habit for good.

i started my vaping habit with Never light again (NLA) when vaping was still newly in the market. but that did not work out for me. so i got back to the analogs. in 2012 a co worker and i was talking during break time said to try out other e-cigs, now that the prices has gone down. so i did, i got to a smoke shop and got jet e-cigs. from there i serched and stumbled on ego-c twist and purchaced it form smoktek. upon watching how to clean cleromizers on you tube, i stumbled upon pbusardo's review for the vamo (A PBusardo Review - The Vamo - YouTube). so i went back to smoktek and got the vamo from them.

now i hear there is a lot of following from here and the web for the provari mod. i went pbusardo's review for the provari and saw that it has a great review (A PBusardo Review - The ProVari V2 (edit) - YouTube). thanks Pete for all the infromation. now i have one thing more to look for. and i think that if i will purchase a provari i will really give up analogs (fingers crossed).

Hey there & welcome to the forum! I personally have a Provari & love it. However, I don't think that it will be the answer to your problem. Tell us what kind of delivery system you're using, meaning...tanks, cartos, novas etc... Also what level of nic juice you're using...18 mg, 24etc... The Provari is an awesome device. It's solid, reliable, & consistent. But just like the Vamo, it really boils down to what you put on top of it.

Welcome to the boards and glad to hear that you're working on kicking the smoking habit! I think most people will agree that Provari is hard to beat. Eventually you'll discover the delivery system that you favor most, whether it's carto's or clear's or RBA's or whatever, and the flavors and you'll be in great shape. Good luck on your quest and once again, welcome to the forums here!

i got into carto tanks and my nic level is 18

First, I forgot to say congrats because every cigarette that you don't smoke is a victory! I recommend getting a bottle of 24mg juice for those really bad cravings or 18mg could just not be enough for you to begin with. When I started I smoked the cigarettes I had left & just refused to buy anymore after that. I was vaping all 18mg juice too but I had a bottle of 24mg as recommended by the guys at my closest vape shop for the rough patches. Hopefully this will help get you through it.

Also, if you like you're Vamo then I think you'll love a Provari. I used cartotanks as well on mines! If you purchase one you will not be disappointed!

Deacon aegis: tnx for the support and the warm welcome

Any time. You'll find the folks here to be wonderful people and very, very knowledgeable. I have learned so much from this group and having recently started myself, it has been great. Smoke free here since day 3 of vaping and not looking back. :)

chimmney34: i will try that 25mg juice. the only thing with me is when the mg's go up i cough too much. i think it is too much of a hit on the throat.

Let us know how it goes! Hopefully you have a vape shop near by that might be able to help you out!

Here's the thing...

There are dozens of reasons/problems/issues that someone might have trouble putting down those last few cigarettes.
Until you identify what those reasons/problems/issues are in YOUR case, it will be hard to help.

But rest assured that almost every reason/problem/issue has a solution.
And one thing we CAN do is help you find that solution.
:)

I had trouble making that switch until yesterday. I picked up some Halo (brand) Tribeca (flavor). Halo has this uncanny knack for giving you a nice flavor that still has a solid tobacco....without totally over-powering. I also plan on picking up their Turkish Tobacco, and they had a few others that I really liked as well.

I had a horrible time trying to switch, but after finding some solid juice, I haven't had a single analog today. Bit of a rough go, but so far so good! All about the juice is my .02

@Noni . . . I bought my provari for sort of similar reasons, as you. I wanted to insure that I maintain my smoke free status. That was my deal with myself and thus far, I do not see any cigarettes on the horizon.

Enjoy and you can do this, regardless of your PV choices.

noni - supposedly NLA is a few miles from me (or is it a chain?) but i certainly didn't find it...i just wanted to browze LOL

i considered myself a fairly heavy smoker (or maybe that was how other ppl defined me?) and i am only on 12mg and fine....BUT..i totally didn't overthink or plan or psych myself out about analogs...truthfully i wasn't even planning on quitting...i was just going to vape the times i couldn't actually smoke....guess that wasn't in "the plan" LOL

note to self: finish thought before hitting reply

i haven't told myself that i could NOT smoke analog...i just haven't. like going on a diet and being told you can NEVER EVER EVER eat cake again...all you want is cake....

i kind of feel like when you have been smoking for so long it is one of the ways you see/define yourself and it is scary to change that even if it is for the better...

hopefully any of that makes sense....
