Nobacco juices taste awful, why?

I recently acquired three 30ml bottles of V4L nobacco (sour cherry, sour apple, and blueberry) on here and I am a bit concerned. They all have a very pronounced smell/taste to them that I've never experienced in a juice before. It's not disgustingly awful, but it takes away from the experience of vaping them. The only thing I can compare it to is the smell of makeup.

It's not as bad with the blueberry, but definitely still there. Is there something that goes bad over time, or is there possibly a constituent added, possibly for flavoring, that's responsible?

I can't find anything bad about these flavors, so I'm sort of at a loss. I'm tempted to toss them out, but I'll probably hang on to them for an emergency situation.

This.

There quality control/ consistancy is lacking. When I started vaping I bought all sorts of 5 ml samples. I had three bottles of Kamel and one of them was this orange-ish brown color. I thought maybe it was a good idea to leave that one alone.

Not all Dekang juice is bad but I avoid vendors that relabel it and try to make it look fancy.

They actually have a couple of my favorite juices. Since they have a ton of flavors they also have a ton of flavors I don't like, but I could say that about anyone. I started with V4L so I've probably tried about 40 of their flavors. I've tried Dekang too, 'cause it's cheap, and never had a Dekang flavor I liked. They do start with Dekang and then adjust the flavors to their liking, which is why so many people prefer the Nobacco to stock Dekang flavors, they actually are better.

Like coconut, I've had better coconut, but not better enough to pay twice as much for it elsewhere. Killer prices keep me going back to V4L for the flavors I did like. Mmm, peach, cognac, tequila...time for another order.

You just have to look at what line you are ordering.

Order the 5ml bottles and you are probably hit or miss as they work through old stock. Funny thing this is the only place I can find the Mountain Dew I like (American made Mountain Dews incorporate a lemonade flavoring that irritates my lungs).

Order the 30ml Premium bottles and you'll get the new premium juices every time.

Order the Wow juices and you'll get new stuff, but a different manufacturer so the flavors vary from the "premium" line.

If you look at the line you are ordering, its consistent...except for the 5ml bottles. People think they're inconsistent because the 5ml samples they try don't always match the 30ml bottles they order if they liked the 5ml bottle. I guess you could call that inconsistency.

V4L, VaporBomb and Tasty Vapor have some of the best priced premixed juices available though, with V4L offering improvements on Dekang and VB and TV offering the American made stuff made out of Lorannes, Perfumers Apprentice, and etc. Sometimes you want custom confections and sometimes you just want jelly-belly flavors. VB and TV have the confections, V4L has the jelly-bellies. IMO you are missing out on some good options if you are exclusive to one or the other.

They are 30ml bottles and are certainly nowhere near what I would consider "premium" quality in any way shape or form.

You guess?

Price is certainly a factor, but I'm not sold on these three V4L flavors.

I really wish someone out there knew what is causing the stink in these juices. It's probably one specific chemical, perhaps a perfume in the flavorings. Is there a known substance that causes particularly pungent chemical/makeup odor?

Some people have complained of rose...extract?...something from roses in V4L juice. I don't notice it myself except in some fruity flavors if I'm really trying to notice it.

A few things you might want to note about V4L:
They do read the comments box when you order, so most likely if you put "PLEASE no older stock." in an order comments box, they would send you the new stuff.
They have excellent customer service and answer emails quickly, so if you're really concerned, send 'em an email asking about it.
They are currently working on a new line of USA made liquids manufactured by them, not relabeled.
Steve (company owner) just said in the V4L forum that they have now tripled in size and are currently working to improve quality control and customer service.

Hope that helped some...
