Today marks one week without a single cig. Took me a couple of weeks of vaping/smoking but today is a milestone -the longest I've gone without tobacco in 25+ years (pack & a half a day). Have no urge for a cig but have two hidden away for the apocalypse. Currently using an MVP2 and misc. double coil tanks and a couple eGo VV for backups and being out in public. This post is just me tooting my own horn. Thanks for all of the info and inspiring stories.

Cheers!

Congrats! I'm at 2 and a half months or so without a cig but I still have half a pack. The first month or so I'd smell them pretty much every day. I ALMOST threw them out a week ago. I'm not sure what stops me. I guess it makes me feel better for some odd reason even though I have no desire for one and am perfectly happy vaping. Keep it up and vape on!

I quit by "tapering" just as you have. It just got easier and easier, until the point where, unbelievably to me, I just could not even finish the last cigarette in the last pack.

I hope that you can look at those last two cigarettes you still have left, on your 1 month, 6 month, and 1 year quit anniversaries and realize just how strong you really are and how far you have come.

Congratulations on taking the first step toward a better future for you and your family. You CAN do this!

I'm a new quitter myself. I had gotten my feet wet with vaping with Blu, but as I'm sure most of you know, not the best quality, and as a result went back to cigs. Today, I went to a vape shop in town and purchased some upgrades.

Boy am I glad I did. It's been since I made my purchase this morning that I've smoked a cigarette. Unbelievably I've not had the urge for one at all. They gave me 5 bucks off for every pack of smokes I let them cut in half.
I admittedly paniced a bit at the thought but let them do it. It's 11:30 pm and still no urge, and this raspberry flavor kicks ...........:D

That is SUCH a cute/cool idea - good for the vape shop!
(good for you, too, of course!)
:D

Congratufrakulations!!! Sounds like a Vaper to me and a good start on your vaper career. I just hit the 10 month of vaping after smoking for 27 years. Vaping just keeps getting better. In my search for that something missing with vape, I went from cig-a-likes to ego's & changeable's, regulated & rba's, mechs, DIY juice, and high amp regulated.

The satisfaction, nicotine delivery, flavor and experience I get from vaping could never be had with burning bushes. Everything one needs to improve their vape can be found in the pages of this forum, tis where I learned. The ECF is the best resource for personal well being on the planet.

Vape long and Prosper!!!
