Howdy, new member here with a question.

I have been vaping for a month now. Been using a stock Ego, and dripping just a few drops at a time into the atomizer. Recently I delved into my first mod. I simply removed the poly wick, the bridge, and most mesh from my atty. I find this to provide a slightly better vaping experience.

My annoyance at this time is when the juice starts to dry up. I get a nasty burnt taste. After further inspection of the atomizer, I see that the coil is wrapped around some poly wick. This part of wick is impossible to remove.

So here's my question: Is there an atomizer made for drippers. One that contains no wicking or meltable substances? I would love to have an atty that was simply a coil in an all metal basin. I suppose this would still taste nasty when too dry, but I wouldn't be inhaling plastic fumes! Any input or suggestions would be helpful.

thanks, FF

What DC2 said.
Also - I drip too - Ive been dripping almost the whole time since I started after messing with carts for a couple weeks. I haven't ever removed a bridge or wick myself but Ive also not had this burned taste either (and I have more wick etc than you do from what you say).
I should add that I dont clean mine either - once mine stop working (as in they no longer fire at all) I throw them away.
