I won't vape with non-vegan wicks like non-vegan yarn/wool/beeswax/etc if such exist?
I'm getting up to all of these clearos and wondering if their stock wicks and 1.8 ohm replacement coils are vegan (no animal products/by-products): t3, a rebuildable stardust (not sure if ce4/ce5,ce+/c3po, oh my what have they done with screwing the patent laws that everything's overlapping names and knockoffs and made up names exist), and a mini nova.

I have never heard of beeswax or wool being used in vaping products.

Most all wicks are either silica or cotton.

If you need further information I suggest you contact the manufacturer, or make your own wicks out of bamboo yarn which several people have done successfully.

Wouldn't beeswax melt from the heat from the coil? Don't think I would use that, it's hard enough keeping the coil clean from the juice!

To the OP, aren't you over thinking this a little?
Just a thought: make one thread, keep asking questions on that one thread, instead of starting multiple threads. Have you tried using the search function to get answers?

This is the second time that I have seen where you say "Hope for an honest answer". If you don't trust that the truth is being told, why ask the question? Do some research on building your own then you know what is in the product. Maybe you could start a sub-forum on ECF for vegans then you would get like minded individuals to talk to.

I wish you luck in your quest for a perfect for you world.

ETA http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/veggie-vapers/79920-why-you-veg-vegan-3.html. Found this with a simple search on ECF. They may have done all the research for you. Won't hurt to ask there.

""Hope for an honest answer". If you don't trust that the truth is being told, why ask the question?"
Sometimes it becomes a covo with the customer service and I can sort of tell if they are trying to get rid of me/give me a false answer so I buy anyway/or give an honest answer. I asked here because some vapers are very knowledgeable. If the question were buried in a 'vegan vaping' thread, some might know but skip over the thread so I titled per question. I like to keep it %100 vegan and research when things are questionable, it's hard, but at the same time it's good because I gravitate towards buying less junk and eating more whole foods. I don't overdo veganism to the point where I'm spending more energy and technically killing more harmelss life in the process such as voiding out most labeled packages which contain animal products for the labeling glue, etc.
thanks for the help

Hi I'm vegan, would like to vape rather than smoke, but more than anything I want to make sure everyone knows the virtue of being vegan, and that it is a sin to not be. I also have about 45 posts on this forum, 43 of which were started by me to extoll the virtues of people like me. If you don't like it, too bad, it's not like you can just ignore my posts or something.

Really though, I love meat and am interested in those baby seal wicks, where can I purchase those, or should I just go club my own? Also, anyone know where I can get a NEV (naturally extracted veal) juice?

Thanks,

Carbon

Seriously?

wool or any sort of animal hair would pretty much burn up on a coil.

I promise, silica comes from sand, not bunnies.

And cotton is cotton.

Silica, cotton, bamboo yarn, and stainless steel mesh are the only wicking materials i've ever seen used under any circumstances, ever.

All I can say is that I hope you're trolling us.

thanks, any second opinions before I try to track down the source for just wicks and hope for an honest answer.

Short of watching peoples every move there is no way to guarantee anything is vegan. I mean I know that there is certs... but once you have those you can just go back to using cheep product pieces. Just ask you vender and take their word for it. Or maybe you could start your own vegan vaping biz? Yeah? That would clear a lot up for you. btw I am not being snarky I have a lot of friend and family that are ether pesc veg or vegan.

before sidetracking and gettign locked, bones for processing sugar came up in my thread about suggesting venders to certify vegan juice to make it more affordable for vegans and non-vegans who want the assurance they're not vaping animal products.

I trust the know it all forum members as much/more than 'contact us' for vaping supplies.

You can ignore my posts and probably block me. I never said non-vegans are sinners or that I'm 'better' it automatically comes across that way. I simply asked questions and got flamed and fought back.

lol, crude oil came up my other thread too, I had no impact on killing them, I wish we'd save crude as a last resort and use more renewable energy.
I think plants feel pain, some 'experts' swear they feel pain, some vegans swear they don't and have all these theories about they can't run and hide so it makes no sense, yada yada. I'd say they're alive and feel pain in the sense that they are alive as in the earth and everything in the universe is alive, rocks, sand, everything besides beings. IOW when we cut a hole in the ozone, it might feel pain, it's a warning sign, the earth/universe is saying don't abuse me but live, it's a good thing. If we cut down every plant, we and the earth would be screwed, that's where sustainability comes into play.
