Hi, I'm new, a non smoker of 1 week!
Started smoking around 23, bored at pubs as I didn't drink and enjoyed other activities after spending alot of time as an athelete previously but serious injury prevented me from continuing. I also ride motorbikes with alot of smokers (probably the 2 worst habits hahahaha) so it's been a hard addiction to stop as everytime I take my helmet off I feel like a smoke.
Bring on Paul R, a close friend of mine who pointed me here. He lent me a narrow pen looking E Cig with some RY4 carts to get me trying it. At first I didn't like the taste very much but gave it a week of sort just having 1-2 analogues of a night time and vaping during business hours. Then ran out of juice as I was researching and trying to decide if I should continue and invest in my own gear.
Paul R kindly spent a few nights with me trying stuff, explaining stuff out. That gave me the confidence to order a bunch of stuff from the ECIG Warehouse where Nelly and I have been chatting and sorting me out with some wicked gear. Paul R again gave me a small amount of juice to keep me going until my NIC order arrived from China's Health Cabin. That arrived 1 week ago and I've barely touched an analogue since. In fact, one of my oldest mates who comes up from the coast to stay the night here and there, we end up drinking/smoking, well last night I didn't have a single one, nor did I feel like one whilst he sat (at my invite) right next to me smoking all night!
I certainly noticed the smell was so much stronger and have even more empathy for my wife as a non smoker. I'm using the TM Riva 1100mAh kit, have a range of atomisers including some LR options. Also have CE2 clearomisers which seemed like the option I'd stick with except the cone piece doesn't fit over the top....then they appear to leak a bit as well but this could be something I'm doing wrong.
The cartridges didn't quite do it for me although a top idea. I'm quite fond of the clear 510-tank as I can see how much juice is in there, seems to work well with the LR atomiser and hasn't leaked much or at all to date.
I also have a bunch of other stuff including a dual coil carto, but having issues filling it + leaking. It also makes a weird sound like a bubbling/gurgly sound. Talked to Nelly and I blew it out, re-filled it on the side sort of like pouring a beer, but still makes the gurgling sound, still leaks....the drip tip thingie fell out instantly, so bought som fancy brass ones but have not progressd with this. The tank has been very reliable thus far (although I still plan on exploring all the options that I have) and because I wanted to quite analogues I needed something easy to deal with. Mind you, I'll remain open minded and work out what I'm doing wrong!
My nic order from Health Cabin includes:
Cool Mint 26mg (or is it 28 lol can't remember)
Quite nice, strong aftertaste.
Deluxe Tobacco, 1x 36mg + 1x 28mg
Had to try one of the tobacco flavours. Figured I'd use this one most so chose a lower mg amount for my overall plan.
Strawberry Cheesecake
Was recommended to me by Nelly and I quite like this one too.
PG + VG no flavour for mixing....I think LOL
After a little more reading it seems I can mix the PG/VG and get more vapour which I wasn't aware of 30 mins ago so yet another handy tip gleaned from this forum!
