Well I'm not really very scarry, but I am new to this site. Lots of cool stuff for sure. I have been vaping for about 2 years and the only time I have had a cig was on a Dusk Till Dawn fishing trip. No Vampires (good), but no Selma Hayek either (not so good).

I forgot my mod in the car. The cigs tasted like dirt and when I got back to get my vape on I knew that I would never be a smoker again. It tasted better than the cig and gave a better hit as well. Although I was worried when I picked it up because it was so hot from sitting in the car.

Well anywho, just wanted to say howdy and get to know some of my fellow vaping aficionadi. (or is it aficionados?)

Nice word, Aficionadi.... (I always wanted to use that word.) :toast:

Hi! Re Dusk till Dawn - next time consider a portable USB charger. When the East Coast hurricane was forecast, on Amazon I bought a New Trent IMP1000 portable USB power supply with 11,000mah. It needed 7+ hours of charging and it arrived in time for me to get about 6.5 hours or charge into it before the power went out (then we had no power for 16 hours, then power for 2, then none for 4). It only has one USB out and I figure that is a normal 500mA (though I need to ask them). I was mostly charging slim batteries that only need 200mah per charging cable so I used a 3-port USB hub (one that mentioned charging in the comments so I knew the power wire came through) and put 2 battery cables on it for charging. Or I could have charged one Ego or Riva 510 battery instead of two slim ones. Worked great. I also brought it to a camp & jam in the Poconos and charged batteries on it.

Cool I will have to check it out. Could it be used for camping? I have tons of batteries something like 50 14500's and a dozen 18650's but I don't like to always drag around too many of them and I like to keep fresh batteries in all the time. I charge up well before I start to lose power. Although I'm not as paranoid about gear as I was when I first started, I still take spares of everything.

Amazing how nasty a real cig tastes after vaping such tasty juice for a while aint it lol. So used to huge clouds of vapor don't even feel like your getting a hit off a analog. :toast:

Hi, and welcome to ECF. :)

Reading Dormouse's post, and then yours, got me to thinking. I recently acquired in a trade, a hand-crank LED flashlight/weather radio/cell phone charger.

It also has a little Solar Cell thingie on the top, and the chick I got it from said you can have it outside while fishing/camping, and it would use solar power to charge your stuff. Would be really nifty for charging PV's IMO.

EDIT: I believe this is the exact one I have:

Amazon.com: Ambient Weather WR-088 Emergency Solar Hand Crank AM/FM/NOAA Weather Radio, Flashlight, Cell Phone Charger (Red) with Cables: Electronics

Solar powered vaping? I can happily desert myself on an island now.
