I'd like to get into dripping just out of curiosity and something to do in my free time. But I'll be honest, most days I don't give a .... and would just rather fill up a couple clearos and vape away while relaxing. Probably all I'll ever rebuild are the kanger coils I use.

Kanger coils are a PITA when it comes to lvl of rebuilding devices just because they are finicky at best (and I'm saying this having over 5 years rebuilding experience) so a device made for rebuilding should be a breeze for you to master in truth.

Its kind of like this though,
I enjoy convience as much as the next person, why not just buy and go and be done with it.
Rescently I've gotten in to DIY juices and some days I'm looking at that almost empty bottle and sigh deeply but.. There is a sliver lining to this whole thing.
Humans are innovative and we find solutions in the rarest places. I've rather then shrugged it off just found ways to adapt, make my process easier like for instance pre-mixing my base and nic solution and bought 2 dram (8 ml) vials that I premix flavors in when I'm feeling up to it. Its easy to figure out that 5 of the pre-mixed vials at 30ml a pop is more then enough juice for the month.

With RDA's and RTA's it much easier, all you would need is to visit your local wal-mart, pick up a box for beads/wire storage and make your coils one pop shot at a time. if you do say 5 sets at x ohm then mark it and move on. Next time your not feeling up to spending the time of wrapping and such just pull out a set of pre-done and wire/wick them up (you could even keep the wicking in the same box to save time), process is no more then maybe 10 min at best and that's if you hit issues.

I can agree that RDA's are a bad idea to have while driving or out and about, just like anything you learn the "Feeling" of your device and refill accordingly as for dry wicks and the such, this in truth is not for everyone but still a lovely vape sitting at home while doing XYZ tasks.

I've always taken that first step of a journey, yah the pathway can be dark at times but EFC and the people here are more then willing to offer guidance through the forest to the woods per say if you want. One wonderful thing about the community is ask for help and a small village will usually show up to show you the way.

Some of us are on the go and dont really have the time to wrap coils... I am a paramedic offshore... I dont want to carry a tool box for a good vape... so out here I got the atlantis and cf SUB battery... i get lots of vapor and flavor... its not as good as a high end RDA or RBA but great for what it is.

Many many many that vape use an ego and simple clearo years into vaping... they dont read the forums, dont know any better, or dont care and like what they have.

The folks that come here generally earn vaping street cred pretty quickly and move up to fancy gear.

Aside from the responses others have already posted (ease of use, convenience, dislike of fiddling, etc), I've found that, although I initially thought that rebuilding might save me some money as opposed to buying replacement heads, my e-liquid usage has gone up substantially. I've gone from using 1-2 ml per day up to 5-10, which most likely adds up to a higher expense than popping in a new head each week. Turns out, sticking with clearomizers may have been the more economical choice after all!

That's because you're using thicker wire in your rebuildable than the wire that comes in the replaceable coil heads;
the thicker wire runs at higher power, and the higher power means you end up vaping more liquid.

Just use thinner wire and your eliquid costs will go back down.
