Hi All,

Been lurking for a while and thought I might as well jump in.

Smoked 1.5 to 5 packs a day (depending on which country/situation I was in) for about 30 years until April 2, 2012 when a friend turned me on to the OEM Ego kit (with tanks) from V4L. Bought it at lunch and got a quick tour and haven't looked back since. I've since paid it forward by sending anyone who was interested and ready to the same place so they can hopefully find similar success. The next day I bought a second kit to make sure I wouldn't be tempted to stop by the gas station because of a dead battery or carto.

I really wish I could shake the hand of the person who invented vaping. I already feel like a new person!

Thanks to the owners of ECF for providing such an invaluable place to discuss and research and share and......

Anyway, cheers!

Thanks to you both for the links. I've seen both stories/claims before in my travels around the web. I'd gladly shake both their hands. The invention is the only thing that's ever had a reasonable shot at getting me to quit that nasty habit and hopefully live longer because of it.

I keep the last pack I bought on my dresser so I can flip it off each morning when I wake up and again each night before I rest. I might even go as far as to build a nice, shiny display case/shrine for the gear that's helping me kick the habit. ;)
