Noob gets unexpected treat on Day 1

Got my VaporNine Nebula (KR808d-1) starter kit in the mail today. Love it, and will be posting a review soon. Also ordered some Kretek juice from Tasty Vapor.

Told my friend about my new stuff, and he said "oh, I used an e-cig for awhile but went back to regular smokes. You can have my stuff."

So, I went by his house and now have some sort of mini e-cig. There were two auto batteries and two attys. Based on what I see on joyetech's site, it's a 303 or 306. My friend had the invoice from last year - Vapor Guys listed it as a Super Mini. Need to figure out what carts go with it.

I'm pretty happy because now I have a cartomizer system and a regular atty/cart system.

The only problem is that my friend smokes menthols, so I have 5 unopened boxes of menthol carts and 2 bottles of menthol juice that I won't use! Thinking about just opening all the carts and washing/drying them to use later.

Before you throw out/wash out the menthol juices - try them.
Ive been shocked by things Ive liked that I thought I hate and disappointed by stuff I was SURE Id love but didn't.
NEVER say 'I wont like it' before you try it because you might miss something glorious - after trying it tho' its fine to say you hate it

I ended up trying one, and I'm definitely not a fan. I smoked a few analog menthols years ago, and I remember the distinct tingle. Not sure if all menthol juice is like this, but it's kind of like drinking a flat soda - the taste is there, but not the crispness/tingle.

You might want to save them as emergency backups just in case your supplies ever run low, better some nicotine around than none at all.

Another thing you can do with the flavors you don't want is to put them up for sale in the Classified / Swap sections of the forum here. There's a pay-it-forward area where people trade stuff just based upon need and want, and then in the classified section, people are always buying, selling, and trading vaping related items. You might not like what you have, but it might be someone else's long lost favorite flavor in all the world. Might surprise you what you could get for it.

Just a thought....

I think I might have solved the "nasty menthol" issue. I just finished off a pre-filled tobacco-flavored cartomizer, and I got the same nasty taste that I thought was the menthol. I think I just experienced the funky atty taste! The mini-fogger that my friend gave me sat for months without use. I bet the attys were gunked up. I just ordered new ones.

Going to refill a carto with menthol liquid and see if it tastes better.
